Our guide Vinisha saved the day. Moët overbooked the tickets and sold the tour for the day. Vinsha was able to book another champagne house. She knew we were disappointed She arranged for us to visit Moët snd see the house and take photos. That extra effort really made the day for us. Vuve was magnificent and had a wonder lesson on the whole process and a four glass tasting.
Vanisha was fantastic. We had made our booking late in the day to visit three champagne houses and it turned out that Moet Chandon was not available for a tour. Vanisha worked with us to take away the disappointment and still make us happy. We visited the other champagne houses and then Vanisha arranged for us to still visit Moët Chandon for pictures and a gift shop visit. That really made the day. I would highly recommend Vanisha for a Champagne tour of France and any other French sites
Everything was up to our expectations, no more no less. Well organised, a wonderful one-day tour. The guide and the driver were very kind and professional.
Our guide Helen was amazing. An experience of a lifetime and worth every penny. It was a bucket list trip and it did not disappoint! Cheers!!!
Absolutely fabulous day trip! Having been to 127 countries on all 7 continents, I have been on countless tours, and this was one of the best! Despite it being a Monday in early May, when many of the Champagne houses are closed or on limited schedules, Valerie was able to get us in at three fabulous houses; Moet, Mumm, and Pomerol. All were excellent and very different making for a great experience. The Driver was right on time with a beautiful, luxurious Mercedes, and the driver was friendly and very safe. What really made the trip special, however, was our guide Helen, who was charming, knowledgeable, and fun, and by the end of the day we felt like she was a long-time friend!
We just love this experience! We went among 5 friends and enjoyed each tour inside the houses and along the way, with private guide who had calculated all our visits and a luxury car for the occasion. We learned a lot about Champagne and tried until we said enough! We loved it!
One of the most enriching wine-tastings I ever had. The tour offered a perfect balance of education, history, and indulgence : we laughed, we talked, we learned, we enjoyed the amazing wines offered by this beautiful region and understood its history. The day was really bubbly, hahaha!
Oh that was fantastic. We were a group of friends from Budapest visiting the champagne region for the first time. I must say that I doubted that I would learn much as I have been a bit educated in wine tasting. But being in the heart of this most sophisticated sparkling wine in the world was something really special. In fact, I learned a great deal! We had mush fun and I hope we didn’t disturb our guide Emily with our behavior. She trued to keep us on the schedule all the time. After a few drinks we were friends and we would have liked to stay more. We should have ordered a week tour in 🍾 champagne! We will definitely come back for some more!
I have dreamed about touring Champagne France and wanted to make sure I got it right. It was 4 of us total. We were picked up at our hotel in Paris around 7:30am and then it is about and hour and 1/2 ride to the region. We were in a Mercedes sprinter which was nice. Note: the 2nd row faces backwards in case you get car sick riding backwards, 3rd row faces front. Our driver and guide spoke limited English, so this is definitely not a guided tour, but our guide was amazing keeping us on time for our tastings especially later during the day as the tastings started kicking in and trying to keep the fun on track! She was so sweet. We started at Dom Perignon and Moet and Chandon and did a high end tasting there. No tour of the grounds. We then went to a smaller champagne house, and then went to lunch in Reims, all set up by them. Next we went to Pommery house and then ended with Vueve Clicquot which was by far my favorite! So 4 champagne houses and tastings and lunch. The tours were amazing and very informative and better than I thought it would be. We ended around 5:30 and I imagine they would have driven us back to Paris, but we had booked an Airbnb for the night in the center of Reims and did dinner and brunch the next day there and decided to not rush the day. I highly recommend this tour, they took very good care of us and it was an amazing experience.
This tour company is unreliable. We booked this tour with a private upgraded vehicle. The driver failed to show at the hotel at the reserved time. I tried to contact the tour company via phone and messaging with no response. The hotel concierge was nice enough to assist and also received no response to messages left. The concierge reached out to Viator customer care, who also was unable to reach the tour company. Thankfully customer care was able to assist with a refund. This champagne tour was to be the highlight of our trip to France and it was ruined. Do not book with this tour company - SIA Tour Up in Europe. Unprofessional and unreliable.
This tour was booked only 5 hours before the scheduled start! While we processed a full refund, it’s surprising to read such strong comments about “ruining the trip,” considering the minimal planning time involved. We will continue to do our best to assist with last-minute bookings, but please be aware that proper planning is essential for a smooth experience.
