Our guide Luke was wonderful. He shared some great stories about the history of ghent, and kept us engaged by asking us if we knew the answer to his trivia questions. There was a heatwave that week, still comfortable on the boat, umbrellas are provided if its too sunny.
The guide spoke multiple languages seamlessly, was great for me as a refresher in French. She was very friendly and knowledgeable.
Great boat trip Very good guide
The guided boat tour in Ghent was a fun experience. We really enjoyed our guide. She was very funny and informative. We learned a lot about the history of Ghent and some very interesting stories. It was definitely worth the time and money and we highly recommend.
GAND is a beautiful city, worth discovering for its medieval buildings and extraordinary shops where shopping can turn into an adventure. WOW at the Count's castle that one discovers at the exit of a bridge. Gui very professional, multilingual, and humorous. Finish with waffles topped with whipped cream, with strawberries as an extra.
We embarked with 54 people (mostly elderly) for a trip in historic Ghent. We were divided into 3 boats, so everyone had a comfortable seat. Getting in and out went smoothly mainly thanks to the help of the captains. The explanation of the captains was also fun and enlightening. Not too many historical details but fun facts. Thanks for this nice trip.
The driver of the boat was fantastic. Great tour of Ghent from the water. Multi languages were used on the tour. Would prefer a single language boat
This was a nice way to see Ghent. The boat operator was knowledgeable regarding the sights to see and spike several languages which was nice for foreign travelers. We took a boat tour around 11am and the line and wait was minimal.
Great live commentary. Route along the river and canal took in a lot of notable sights which were pointed out with some interesting history and stories.
This boat tour of Ghent was fairly good, but a little less than I expected. The trip over the River Leie was beautiful and although it was nice to see Gravensteen and Graslei, the tour felt a bit short. The guide's explanation was good, but not always clearly heard. Also, the seat could be a little more comfortable. All in all, it can be tried once, but with too much expectation, be a little disappointed.
