Le beffroi est le bâtiment le plus important de la Grote Markt. Cette place est entourée de maisons de guilde avec une histoire ancienne.
La basilique du Saint-Sang possède une façade impressionnante avec des statues dorées. Vous accédez à la chapelle haute de style néo-gothique par un escalier spécial. Il y a aussi un ascenseur. Le marché aux poissons est entouré de 126 colonnes. Il est situé directement sur un canal pittoresque avec des arbres, des bancs et des maisons à pignons en escalier.

Dans le jardin de l'Arentshuis vous découvrirez les colonnes de la salle d'eau. Voici 4 statues en bronze représentant les cavaliers de l'Apocalypse. Vous avez une belle vue sur le pont Bonifatius, le palais Gruuthuse et la tour de l'Onze Lieve Vrouwekerk.
La cour du palais de la famille Gruuthuse est imposante. Vous découvrirez la statue de Lodewijk au-dessus de la porte d'entrée. Le guide raconte l'histoire de cette puissante famille.

Ric was an exceptional guide with much knowledge of history told in an engaging way. Boat ride was fun and a nice 30 minute break from walking and standing. We were treated to chocolates and a cold beverage along the way also which was a pleasant surprise.

It was a very good way of sampling Brugge and learning facts we wouldn’t have known. Our tour guide Fabienne was very knowledgeable and a real character! The only reason for not giving 5 stars is there was no wireless vox provided.

The tour guide was passionate and knowledgeable. He shared facts and information about the city and useful tips for the rest of our time in Bruges. The walking element of the tour was in two parts, with the boat trip part way through. This worked very well. The trip on the canal was also very enjoyable

Incredibly wonderful city. Absolutely worth seeing on foot and/or on the water. We were inspired by the show "Wunderschön" and saw and did everything that was shown there. Our tour guide was very well-informed, funny, and lively, even though he had a cold/was hoarse. He expertly guided us through Bruges in 3 1/2 hours (2 1/5 hours were indicated), something we have never experienced before. It was not boring, well-balanced, simply top-notch 😘.
