Nous partons de Reykjavík et commençons notre route panoramique le long de la côte sud vers la lagune du glacier Jökulsárlón.
L’Eyjafjallajökull est l’un des volcans les plus célèbres d’Islande, surtout connu pour son éruption de 2010 qui a perturbé le transport aérien à travers l’Europe. Ce stratovolcan coiffé de glaciers offre une vue saisissante, avec la glace et le feu coexistant dans un paysage dramatique. Son nom vient des mots islandais pour « glacier de montagne insulaire », décrivant parfaitement sa présence puissante.
Skógafoss est l’une des chutes d’eau les plus emblématiques d’Islande, à 60 mètres en cascade des falaises de la côte sud le long du fleuve Skógá. Sa brume puissante crée souvent des arcs-en-ciel vifs, ce qui en fait un favori des photographes comme des voyageurs. Selon la légende locale, un trésor viking est caché derrière les chutes, ajoutant une touche de mystère à sa beauté à couper le souffle.

La lagune du glacier Jökulsárlón, située près de Skaftafell dans le sud-est de l'Islande, est un spectacle à couper le souffle où les eaux bleues chatoyantes sont remplies d'icebergs dérivants du glacier Breiðamerkurjökull. Seljalandsfoss est l’une des chutes d’eau les plus uniques d’Islande, célèbre pour le chemin qui permet aux visiteurs de marcher derrière son rideau d’eau en cascade. Encadrée par une alcôve naturelle en forme de grotte, cette cascade enchanteresse est particulièrement magique pendant les longues journées d'été en Islande, où elle est baignée de lumière dorée.
Faites une courte pause dans la charmante ville de Hvolsvöllur pour vous dégourdir les jambes et vous rafraîchir avant que le voyage ne se poursuive vers la lagune du glacier Jökulsárlón.
Après une longue et mémorable journée à explorer la côte sud et la lagune du glacier Jökulsárlón, nous retournons à Reykjavík. Le dépôt à l'hôtel commence à l'arrivée, et votre Guide vous fournira de plus amples informations pendant le processus de dépôt.

• Veuillez être à votre point de ramassage désigné au moins 30 minutes avant le départ. Nos véhicules de ramassage sont bien marqués avec les excursions Reykjavik. • Chaque chauffeur a quelques arrêts, donc il peut prendre jusqu'à 30 minutes pour finir de récupérer tout le monde, donc il n'y a pas lieu de s'inquiéter si le bus n'est pas là tout de suite.

Very long day, but worth it. We also did the optional boat tour at the glacier Lagoon and really liked it. Enough time at the stops and our guide Mikki was great. We also got lucky with the weather, which helped.

guide was amazing, enough time for every sight and went to many different places for little money and time considering they are quite far away from each other and amazing to see. loved every minute of the experience.

It was a little overrated in my opinion. The highlight was the Lagoon and waterfalls but I could've done those independently and not take so long.

It was a great experience. As everyone would say a long day though and you can’t see as much. But one needs to know that if you are planning for one day then it’s a long day. Our guide Benedict is a very nice and knowledgeable driver giving as much details as possible. Great job Benedict.
