Excursion gastronomique privée à Keelung avec marchés locaux et dégustations

Description

Be sure to arrive hungry for this tour! The meeting instructions were very clear, and we found our guide, Mila, with no trouble. We’re avid travelers and have taken countless walking food tours around the world, and this was truly the best one we’ve ever been on. Mila was fabulous—knowledgeable, energetic, and passionate about sharing Taiwan’s culinary culture. We were especially glad we skipped breakfast, because this tour is a nonstop feast paired with fascinating local history. Taiwan is famous for its incredible food, and Mila made sure we tasted as many local favorites as possible. Each stop offered generous portions, and sharing allowed us to enjoy everything without feeling rushed. We loved every dish. We’re already looking forward to returning and trying the night version of this tour on our next visit to Taiwan.
A very interesting tour, you get to experience a little bit of everything - learn about the history of Taiwan, visit local and cultural places of interest, and taste unique and local food!
Tour was really interesting, you get a little mix of everything - abit of Taiwanese history, visiting cultural and local places of interests and a taste of some very unique and local food.
It was a really great tour, but the organization by the company to connect with our guide was very confusing and unorganized. They also gave me a number that I couldn't dial with my US phone. Besides the poor communication, our guide Ilun was very patient, wonderful, and accommodating. We didn't want to see any typical food stop like dumplings or noodles. We were looking for foods unique and local to Taiwan and Ilun did a great job showing us foods we never tried before. I think the coordination can use some work but I'd definitely recommend Ilun !
Dear Erica, Thank you so much for sharing your thoughtful feedback. We’re truly glad to hear that your family enjoyed the tour and that Ilun was able to introduce you to unique local dishes that matched what you were looking for. It means a lot to us that you would recommend her. We’re very sorry that the pre-tour communication felt confusing. Traveling abroad can already be stressful, and clear coordination is something we take seriously. Your feedback helps us improve, and we’ve since reviewed how we share contact details to make sure they’re easier to reach from overseas phones. Thank you again for your honesty and for joining us in Keelung. We hope your memories of the food and stories stay with your family long after your trip. Warmly, Keelung For A Walk Team
Okay, this tour was honestly just fantastic. I've done a bunch of food tours, but this one is the real deal. The food itself? Amazing, totally authentic local stuff, they clearly know the best spots. But what made it a five-star experience was how much more you get. We weren't just eating; we were walking and learning about the city's history and architecture. Our guide was brilliant at tying the food directly to the local story. It felt less like a food tour and more like an essential cultural exploration, which is something you just don't see normally. The guide herself was such a gem, too. You could tell she was a genuine local, super passionate, and just genuinely excited to share her city. Warm, welcoming, and totally attentive to everyone. Seriously, if you're deciding on a tour, stop looking and book this one.
I had a great time joining the Night Market Food Tour with Keelung for a Walk. Our tour guide Mila was very knowledgeable and helped us navigate through an otherwise rather hectic market. We had some specialty Keelung foods at local shops, and by the end were stuffed full of yummy foods, plus dessert. We spent about 2.5-3 hours total, and would highly recommend this tour!
My husband and I did a private night tour of Keelung fish market. Mila and her partner, Rachel, were great to walk around with at night. I felt very safe and Mila gave great tidbits of historical information about the city. She took us to sample local foods which were all yummy. Mila is a local native of Keelung, so she is knowledgeable and is well-known by other locals. Highly recommend this tour.
Loved our tour with Mila. We learned a lot about Taiwan that we wouldn’t have normally learned on our own. She followed our pace and adjusted to what we were interested in. Most importantly she was able to introduce us to food that could match our allergies and preferences (seafood allergy and vegetarian) which made me more bold to try more. 10/10 I wouldn’t miss this tour. It supports locals too!
Our guide Mila was knowledgeable, well prepared and charming! She made our tour more fun and all the more memorable! The food we sampled was delicious and more than we could eat - plus we could be very flexible about what we wanted to try. Truly a great Tour!
