Votre aventure dans les aurores boréales commence au moment où notre Guide expérimenté vient vous chercher à Reykjavík, au volant d'une super jeep 4×4 spécialement équipée pour le voyage à venir. Une fois tout le monde à bord, nous laisserons derrière nous la lueur de la ville et nous nous aventurerons dans la vaste obscurité tranquille de la campagne islandaise. Alors que nous cherchons l’Aurora Borealis dans le ciel, l’itinéraire peut nous mener à travers certains des sites naturels à couper le souffle du pays, cachés dans l’ombre mais révélés par l’œil et les connaissances pointues de votre Guide. En parcourant des routes rurales moins fréquentées, nous échappons à la foule et profitons d’une meilleure chance d’assister aux aurores boréales dans tout leur éclat, ainsi qu’à la beauté sereine du ciel nocturne islandais.
Lorsque les conditions s’y prêtent, votre Guide choisira l’endroit idéal en fonction des prévisions météorologiques de la soirée. Ensuite, il est temps de s’installer et d’attendre le spectacle de la nature. Les aurores boréales dansent habituellement à environ 100 kilomètres (60 miles) au-dessus de la surface de la Terre – un spectacle d’un autre monde né près du pôle magnétique nord. Regarder des rubans de couleur déferler dans le ciel semble presque surnaturel, comme si le cosmos lui-même peignait pendant la nuit. Assurez-vous de vous habiller chaudement, car l'air nocturne islandais peut être vif. Un chandail polaire ou une de nos couvertures douillettes vous aidera à garder le froid pendant que vous attendez. Pour rendre le moment encore plus réconfortant, nous vous servirons une tasse de cacao fumante accompagnée d’une bouchée sucrée au chocolat. Et quand l’aurore apparaîtra, vous ne la verrez pas seulement, vous aurez la mémoire capturée pour toujours. Nos guides prennent des photos chaque fois que les aurores boréales se dévoilent, vous assurant de rentrer chez vous avec votre propre photo sous le ciel rougeoyant.
Nous terminerons l'aventure avec un dépôt à Reykjavík depuis votre point de prise en charge initial. Veuillez noter que les aurores boréales sont des phénomènes naturels difficiles à prévoir, mais nos guides font tout ce qui est en leur pouvoir pour vous assurer les meilleures chances de les voir.

- Rappelez-vous, vous êtes responsable de mettre à jour votre lieu de prise en charge au moins 48 heures avant votre visite. - Les horaires de prise en charge des Aurores Magiques sont les suivants : 25 août - 14 septembre : 21 : 30 (9 : 30h) 15 septembre - 14 mars : 20 : 30 (20 : 30h) 15 mars - 15 avril : 21 : 30 (9 : 30h) Vous trouverez l'heure de prise en charge réelle dans le processus de réservation et sur votre bon final. La prise en charge peut prendre jusqu'à 30 minutes selon les conditions de circulation et votre emplacement. Votre patience est grandement appréciée.

- Une marche modérée est nécessaire, de bonnes chaussures de randonnée sont fortement recommandées.

- Si vous ne voyez pas les aurores boréales, ou si votre visite est annulée en raison du mauvais temps, vous pouvez réserver à nouveau pour une autre soirée sans frais sur une visite en minibus (sous réserve de disponibilité). This was a great. Our guide (H) really made the experience. He was adept at handling the vehicle confidently off-road through the snow, was passionate and knowledgeable about the science of northern lights, took great photos of the group and even told funny jokes. The super jeep experience is totally worth it. The tour guide Mr H was great and very knowledgeable of the best spots and timing. He took us high on the mountains where there was a cloud opening and got some of the best lights of the season even when cloud coverage was very bad and snowy. During the same week we had booked a small tour with a different company on a small bus and it didn’t had the versatility that this tour had.

Tour guide was creative and honest about conditions. He found a spot for us to see lights even w bad conditions. Courteous and funny. Highly recommend
We were cancelled the original night due to weather, which happens, so booked on the following night, timings was advised to be at pick up 15 minutes early, the arrival was within this but you MUST be early. We were taken out the city and were told to be patient, it does not just happen and knew it was not guaranteed, went to a couple of different spots, but the driver felt where we stopped finally we had a high chance, he served Hot chocolate, biscuits and Vodka if you wanted it whilst we waited, we saw the Northern lights, had plenty of time to explore and watch and was never rushed, had some pictures taken which we had to look online to obtain but these were free also. The guide explained everything, advised it was not guaranteed, was patient and gave us some explanations on what we were looking for. Very succesful and enjoyable evening.

This is a great tour. Hjortur is a pro, he knows how to find the lights if the are happening. I would highly recommend. Plus, it's a cool ride.

I did this tour 2 nights in a row. First the day I landed (27/1/26) with tour guide ‘Buck’. He was brilliant. It was a very cloudy night, so he went off roading to try and find us some lights. This is why I booked this tour, over the big bus. We were lucky that we saw the lights, but it wasn’t the dancing experience I was hoping for. That’s why I booked another tour. I was given 10% off from the company due to being a returner. The next night I was with tour guide Klemmi. Klemmi was lovely and very informative. We saw the lights within a few minutes. He then drove us to a spot to wait. Around 23:10, Aurora chose to dance. It was incredible!!. Seeing the lights dance was something I dreamed off! Thank you to both guides. They were both great in their own ways.
