Itinéraire
Nous serons ponctuellement à votre hôtel pour venir vous chercher à l'heure prévue. Après la prise en charge, nous nous dirigerons vers Cusipata, où le voyage dure deux heures et demie jusqu'à atteindre le point où nous prendrons notre petit-déjeuner.
En arrivant à cet endroit vers 6h20, nous serons accueillis avec notre délicieux petit-déjeuner buffet. Après avoir profité de ce plaisir matinal, notre guide nous fournira les instructions nécessaires pour commencer notre passionnante aventure dans les véhicules tout-terrain qui nous mèneront à Qosqopata, situé à 4900 mètres d'altitude. Le trajet en véhicule dure généralement environ une heure. Ensuite, nous continuerons l'expérience en marchant pendant 35 minutes, sur une distance de 1,5 kilomètre, jusqu'à atteindre l'impressionnant point de vue de la montagne aux 7 couleurs, qui culmine à 5 038 mètres d'altitude.
Nos guides vous accompagneront tout au long du voyage en VTT depuis la communauté de Japurá, où se trouve notre base. De ce point, vous serez témoin de paysages uniques, entourés de montagnes, de rivières, de montagnes aux sommets enneigés et de la présence d'animaux des hautes Andes, comme les lamas et les alpagas, dans leur habitat naturel, rassemblés par les locaux. Le point culminant de cette expérience est l'impressionnante Montagne aux Sept Couleurs, un cadeau visuel qui semble avoir été peint par les dieux, nous laissant un héritage qui honore nos ancêtres. Dans ce lieu majestueux, vous aurez l'occasion de profiter de la grandeur de la nature, en capturant les meilleurs moments en photographies et en vidéos. Nos guides vous offriront des explications détaillées sur les formations géomorphologiques, l'origine de la montagne et la fascinante variété de couleurs.
Après avoir profité du point de vue sur la montagne aux 7 couleurs, nous monterons à bord de nos véhicules tout-terrain pour retourner à la ville de Cusipata, où un délicieux déjeuner nous attend. Après avoir terminé ce savoureux repas, nous commencerons le retour à Cusco, où nous arriverons vers 16h30. En moyenne. Sur ce, nous conclurons notre visite en laissant les participants dans leurs hôtels respectifs.

Total SCAM, stay away from them. We booked the tour from them and there was absolutely no communication from them. They didn’t show up to pick us up and there were absolutely no responses from their part.
Good breakfast and lunch. The driver and guide were both very friendly and accommodating. Very short ATV ride. Then given option to spend more money on either a motorbike or horseback ride up the hill, or else the other option to walk. I am not sure the price was worth it for this tour.

I booked this ATV tour to Rainbow Mountain from Cusco because it was advertised as a "time saver" with a "30-minute ATV ride" and the promise to "be the first at the top." Unfortunately, the experience was the complete opposite. The ATV portion was a total letdown. The ride starts before the main parking area where all the regular tour buses go, and it lasts only about 9 minutes—just riding behind the vans on the same road. No scenery, no excitement. It felt like a forced detour just to say you "rode an ATV." Even worse, the whole process added nearly an hour with orientation, waiting, and transport logistics. There was absolutely no time saved—in fact, we arrived later than many of the regular tour groups. To top it off, the guide asked if we wanted to pay extra for a motorcycle ride to get to the top early—which isn’t exclusive to this tour at all. Anyone at the base can pay for that ride. So much for "being the first." I paid extra for an ATV tour that was completely unnecessary and didn’t deliver on any of its promises. Don’t fall for the marketing—it’s a waste of money and time.

The ATV ride is intended to cover part of the route, reducing the overall hiking time. The final stretch to the top is managed by local communities, who offer optional motorcycle rides for an additional cost, independent of our tour. We strive to make the experience as smooth and enjoyable as possible, and we are sorry if there was any misunderstanding regarding the logistics. We had such a great time. Our driver and guide were great. They were very knowledgeable. We got to Rainbow mountain early and beat the crowds.

It was a sightseeing trip in an all-terrain vehicle with hotel transfers, breakfast and lunch. The buggies will be handled in advance, and after the check run, formation will be determined within the nine-person tour, with the guide in charge at the front and back to ensure safe driving. I asked him to change the date of my visit because I was not feeling well, and he agreed and called the hotel to confirm on the day. It was a memorable tour, blessed with good weather, despite a mix of English and Spanish.
