Cette expérience fait partie de notre éco-tour. Quittez Saigon et dirigez-vous directement vers notre port de Can Gio - Vam Sat. Faites la balade en canoë le long de l'immense rivière pour vous rendre à la zone des chauves-souris. Ici, vous monterez à bord d'un bateau à rames pour explorer le paysage naturel et ses habitants tels que les grandes chauves-souris frugivores. Une courte randonnée vous mènera à la réserve ornithologique toute proche pendant la saison de nidification (*) où une tour de guet vous permettra d'observer des milliers d'oiseaux en vol. Déjeunez dans un restaurant écologique local. Après le déjeuner, continuez à marcher jusqu'au lac naturel aux crocodiles. En dehors du lac, vous pourrez parfois voir des singes sauvages sauter de la forêt.

The tour of the mangroves was awesome, beautiful beyond words, and unhurried. We were picked up in a car (not a bus) and questions and answers flowed easily and comfortably. The guide was superb, he went out of his way to point out things of interest and responded to every question. Gingo Voyage is an excellent tour agency.

Lovely Tour guide, great boat trips around the area as well as a cute little canoe ride. Nice food given as part of the package, the views were really pretty especially being 26m up high at one point! Pick up and drop off from the hostel was lovely too as they gave us water and air con.
Because of the rainy season, we were the only ones on the tour. They still organised it just for us with the best tourguide, Jun. He told us many things about the city and the mangrove forest. The nature was really beautiful, a must see! Thank you Jun!

It's almost 1.5-2 hrs distance from Saigon District 1, depends upon heavy Saigon traffic and ferry availability. Overall it was good, started with mangrove speed boat ride..followed by sampan boat ride in mangrove marshes of Mekong Delta. This was followed by bird watching..nothing to watch here as this was not mating season..however enjoyed the nature walk. Highlight of the tour is crocodile feeding, it was quiet thrilling and fun. Tour guide Jason was experienced with good English, friendly and informative.

We had an amazing day tour to the Mangrove Forest. Led by our lovely guide, June, we’ve learned a lot about Vietnamese history, culture, and wildlife. June was very knowledgeable and patience with our questions. In the reserve, we went to see the bats, birds and alligators, including feeding it! We also got to see some monkeys in the wild, and had a great lunch. Highly recommended!
<p>I highly recommend this tour - it's a perfect getaway from busy Saigon and the guide's insights were more than interesting.</p>
<p>This trip is a retreat from the busy city to a quiet un-touristed area of the Mekong. That being said, there is not really that much to see or do although I did see the flying foxes rare bats in the bat preserve. Bird watching in the spring might be interesting but not now December. The trip is worth only about one half the cost.</p>
