I was alone on the tour guide so the guy (kevin) take time to tell me a lot of story about the daredevils and history of the falls. It was pretty nice
Very, very confusing as to where pick up was to be. We parked in the far lot and did not look like any life in Power Plant so we kept going where we thought we could access the boat and we went a very long way when we realized we had to go back 😢 The tour guide was as helpful as he could be and waited for us, but we couldn’t make it back in time. I was very upset to lose $158 and then to have paid an additional $40 for parking. I called the office several times where I was told they were waiting for authorization to give me a credit. I asked for a call back and did not receive one. Situation is still unresolved, but intention to call again today.
A water bottle, sunscreen, comfy shoes, and a willingness to get wet are required! Don’t be afraid to ask questions. The guides are very accommodating.
We did the AR tour and it was such a blast ! The experience was immersive and educational. Julian was super helpful, interactive and even did the tour in Spanish since my mom understood better. Def recommend do the tour in AR , the program was a little glitchy but since we were a small group of 3 we could easily stop to reconnect and start over. Again Julian was super friendly, helpful and took us all the way down to the boat line. It made our whole Niagara Falls trip so memorable!
Great choice! Our tour guy Kevin was fantastic very friendly and professional he was open to be question about the area.
We met up with the very kind tour guide who informed us that there was a glitch in the system and we paid for a tour of the cruise boat AND Behind the Falls. We were supposed to just do the boat. We had already done Behind the Falls with a separate ticket. She said we could do both again, but she showed us where to go for the boat. I contacted Viator about a partial refund and they denied us. I will not be using them again for any other reservations. The only reason that I gave higher than a 1 was because the guide was kind and informed us of the glitch in the system.
We understand completely why that would affect your confidence in booking through them again. Please reach out to us directly so we can see what we can do on our end to help resolve this for you.
Great tour! Rozina was excellent. This tour provides a lot of great background information about the area and wonderful sites to see!
Rozina was very polite and pleasant throughout the tour. However, in some situations, having a bit more detailed knowledge or information would have made the experience even better.
"Thank you so much for your thoughtful feedback! We’re happy to hear that Rozina made your tour enjoyable with her warm and cheery company. We also appreciate your note about the guidance. Our guides are there for your learning and engagement about the area with their local insights, tips and recommendations. We’re so glad you joined us and hope to welcome you again for an even better experience next time!
I could tell our guide Emery was trying his best but the group size and structure of the tour was not the best. A small group started with the Skylon Tower (that others opted out of) and because they ran behind, the remaining 10 people in the group stood around waiting for over 30 minutes after the scheduled start time. Due to this, the rest of the tour felt rushed and I couldn't help feeling like I didn't get the full experience. Emery was nice and tried to keep us engaged with stories but the large group size was overwhelming so it was impossible for everyone other than the first few people to hear. I think the tour would greatly benefit from reducing the group size to enhance the experience and not combining multiple package options to prevent the scheduling issue. I did appreciate being able to get in the front of some of the lines but I don't think it is as necessary during shoulder season. Lastly, I think it's weird that they do not send the guide on the experience (Journey Behind the Falls & cruise) and just pass out entry tickets to each guest.
Julian was a great tour guide. Lots of walking but worth it! Wish they would have limited the number of people allowed at a time behind the falls.
