Les aurores boréales (ou aurores) sont peut-être l'une des choses les plus populaires que les touristes viennent visiter en Islande. Ce superbe affichage lumineux se produit dans la haute atmosphère de la terre à la suite de vents solaires entrant en collision avec le champ magnétique de notre planète. Notre équipe de Northern Lights travaille dur tout au long de la journée, vérifiant les données météorologiques afin de prévoir au mieux un endroit où les lumières devraient être bien visibles. Les endroits visités sont différents d'un jour à l'autre, nous nous dirigeons dans la direction avec le plus de chances de voir les aurores boréales. Comme cette visite dépend de la météo et que les visites ne sont pas garanties, vous êtes invités à rejoindre une autre visite en autocar d'aurores boréales gratuitement.

Itinéraire
Reykjavik a un niveau élevé de pollution lumineuse, ce qui rend difficile une bonne visualisation des aurores. Pour surmonter ce problème, nous allons dans la campagne plus sombre à la recherche des lumières. Vous serez rejoint par l'un de nos guides expérimentés dans le domaine des aurores boréales qui aura une foule d'informations à partager avec vous. Avec un peu de chance, vous trouverez un endroit fantastique pour observer les aurores boréales. Lorsque vous atteignez la position que votre guide a choisie comme étant le meilleur point d'observation, vous aurez alors le temps de sortir du bus pour voir les lumières. Vous aurez tout le temps de prendre des photos. Si vous avez des difficultés, votre guide devrait pouvoir vous aider à configurer votre appareil photo.

Jonas was a super host - he is passionate about his work and couldn’t have done more to make this enjoyable. The Northern Lights weren’t quite as obliging, but we did get a few glimpses-
Even though we didn’t see the Northern Lights (bummer, but nature does its thing), this was still a great experience. Our guide, JP, was fantastic—super knowledgeable about the Northern Lights and shared lots of interesting facts throughout the tour. He was a great driver, easy to talk to, and the hot chocolate and treats were such a nice touch. He really made the whole experience enjoyable and worth it, even without the lights. I’d definitely recommend this tour!
our driver Kuba was excellent , patience , courteous, helpful and was knowledgeable about his job. it was exciting for me bec it was my dream to come to iceland to see the northern lights i was blessed to see it and we have the perfect driver and guide his customer service is excellent and i would definitely recommend this company a to my relatives and friends when i go back to the US i had a wonderful experienced. I did this tour with Svetlanna, who was in communication with other people in order to get the best spots for us to see the Northern Lights. We were a group of about 20 people in a minibus. She took us to three different locations, one of which had hot beverages inside. The lights gave us a magnificent show that night, we could clearly see them with our bare eyes! Svetlanna gave us some information along the way and drove carefully through the night in Thingvellir National Park.
We were surprised and delighted. The expert knowledge and experience of our driver gave us the best chance to see the Northern Lights. The small tour allowed us to get on and off quickly and have space safely near the bus in the dark night to take photos. I wish I had worn more layers. Standing in the icy wind waiting for the Aurora to appear was tough.
Amazing experience!! We had a lot of cloud coverage but managed to find a spot in the National Park where there was a big clearing for a decent amount of time. Our guide was brilliant and very knowledgeable. He also gave us tips on the best way to photograph the Northern Lights. We booked the small group which was a perfect and we were able to go where the big 53-seater coaches couldn't. We arrived back at about 1am, it is a long evening but definitely worth it.

Michael from Bus Travel Iceland made our Northern Lights experience absolutely magical. Not only did he teach us about the Aurora, but also took us to places where no one else was. Having high hopes to see the lights, this trip became more than we could have ever imagined!
Great tour! Kristoff is a really good tour guide. He is nice and made sure that we all can see the aurora. He drove us to three spots, at the first spot, we could see the aurora but it was really weak. However, at the second and third spot, the aurora was strong and he also took pictures for us. Hot chocolate is also tasty.
