Serena was a fantastic guide! She was very knowledgeable about the fauna, the history, and knew exactly where to go for the best birdwatching and dolphin spotting during the sunset. Then when it was dark, the show really began. We were lucky and had calm water and amazing bioluminescense. It was even better and brighter than the photos. We watched the fish darting in the mangroves, got out and played in the water, and spotted a couple of curious manatees. Truly a magical night. Serena is the best!
Chase was excellent. Very knowledgeable and personable . We did the night bioluminescent kayak tour and it was great. Glowing jellyfish and bioluminescent microorganisms....very cool. Drove two hours to get here and it was worth it. Again Chase's enthusiasm was a big factor.
We all loved it! Best part of our vacation and well worth the money. The tour guide was very informative.
It was really fantastic to nighttime kayak at Cocoa Beach. Knowing that you’re kayaking over a nursery of so much sea life variety is mind blowing. The bioluminescence was the icing on the cake.
We had such a great time! My friend had never kayaked and they were so patient. They showed us jelly fish and we got to hold them while they were lighting up in our hands! The water droplets looked like diamonds on our hands. Every stroke of the paddle lit up the water. Our tour guides were extremely knowledgeable about the birds on the island, they explained bioluminescence and showed us how to see it with a net, hands, and look for jumping fish lighting up the water. We had a dolphin come up right next to us and saw others a few feet away. Must do — experience is not required!!!
Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful experience! We're thrilled to hear that you and your friend had such an amazing time kayaking in Cocoa Beach with us. It’s fantastic to know that our team’s patience and knowledge helped make the adventure memorable, especially for a first-time kayaker. The bioluminescence and the sight of dolphins must have been magical – it's truly a unique experience that we love sharing with our guests. We hope to see you again for another adventure on the water, where more breathtaking moments await. Thanks again for choosing us, and for your kind words!
We booked this kayaking tour based on a recommendation from our rental company. Mark and Eric took our family of 6 (3 couples) out right at sunset. First, Mark and Eric are delightful. Both had a lot of knowledge about the area, the animals, river etc. They were very patient with us as we got our bearings kayaking. The sunset was so amazing and we did get to see the bio in the water. That was such a cool experience. The comb jellies were neat and watching the fish dart around us like fireworks was something we had not experienced before. Even our paddles glowed blue when in the water. I would definitely do this again if we are back in Cape Canaveral/Cocoa Beach. It was a beautiful night.
Thank you for taking the time to share your incredible experience with us! We’re thrilled that you chose our kayaking tour based on a recommendation and that Mark and Eric made such a positive impact on your adventure. Their knowledge and patience truly make them special guides, and we’re so glad they helped your family enjoy the evening to the fullest. It sounds like the sunset and bioluminescence put on a spectacular show, and we're delighted that you got to experience the magic of the comb jellies and glowing paddles. We’d love to welcome you back the next time you’re in Cape Canaveral/Cocoa Beach for another unforgettable night on the water! Thank you again,
Most of our family had no experience with Kayaking and it was still a great experience. Our two guides were amazing and gave a great tour of what we were seeing and explaining the bioluminescent plankton. The weather was a bit sketchy but calmed down quickly and we had a blast. Highly recommend the tour. When you see the fish swimming in the Bioluminescence, it will amaze you.
Thank you so much for the glowing review! We're super happy that you joined a tour with us while visiting Cocoa Beach and we appreciate your business. Its really satisfying to us that you enjoyed the bioluminescent nighttime paddle, and got to experience fish and wildlife swimming through the bioluminescence. That is an experience you'll remember forever. Thank you again for choosing A1A Outdoor Center
Amazing to see! Guide was very helpful in pointing out spots & wildlife prior to sunset when bioluminescence stole the show
Kayaking at night? As a beginner kayaker, I was definitely a little hesitant. Didn't quite know what to expect. But my guide was great and the bioluminescence was amazing as well as the starlit night. We even saw a shooting star and dolphins swimming around us. A bucket list experience for sure!
It was a horrible experience, I have 3 kids that I got a baby sitter for, took my wife to dinner and showed up for a date night to kayak, the company No showed us and we didn’t get to go kayaking!
