Alek and Morgan were fantastic guides. Excellent tour saw seals, beautiful lighthouse and the ships at anchor. Great jet skis and clear instructions on use. Loads of fun and would do it again
Our holiday highlight! My parents, boyfriend and I were lucky enough to be the only ones on the tour, so it was basically a private tour! The SeaDoos were so much fun, our guide Tyson catered to our needs and was happy going the speed we set (which for my boyfriend was the max 80km while I clung on the back for dear life). My parents were on one double jetski while my boyfriend and I were on another. We had plenty of opportunities to let the other take a turn and drive. Because we set a fast pace, we had enough time to go all the way to Anvil Island. Snug Cove on Bowen Island has great views and a good pub close by. We saw plenty of seals, and Tyson had a great depth of knowledge about the area. Incredible trip!
This was so much fun for so many reasons. First our guides Greg and Dani were incredible. They made sure we knew how to operate the SeaDoo safely and were there to make sure we had a blast. The tour is as described on the site, the hardest part for our tour was getting to the lighthouse - waves were sizeable on the open part of the tour but once at the light house we had smooth sailing. Our group was my self, my wife and our two adult kids (19, 21) each were able to drive the jet ski so that added to the fun. Greg and Dani were always by our side which made me feel very comfortable on the open water. In addition they gave us great insight into all the landmarks like the light house and the seal colony as well as the history of the sound and the area. Overall this was a super fun adventure - THANK YOU to Vancouver Water Adventures for an awesome day on the water!!!
Had one of my greatest days in Canada on the tour with Eve. Thank you so much 🤍 If you really want to have fun - book your own Jetski - it is worth it. Stunning views of nature, big container ships and sea lions. Of course the experience always depends on the other guys who are with you, but Eve managed everything pretty well :) we will do that again, for sure!
After the excursion it was noted that red bumps became present in the areas that began to get itchy while wearing the wetsuit. They developed into a bacterial skin infection which has traveled across the body and has gotten worse. The excursion itself was fun, but the cleaning of the wetsuits at the end was up to the people who used them. Likely, whomever used the wetsuit before didn't properly clean it or skipped it altogether. Considering the skin infection and the fact people openly pee on them that's a gross thought. Not really worth spending money to get an infection which seems to be growing immune and persist through topical treatments imo.
Hello, and thank you for taking the time to share your feedback! We're genuinely sorry to hear about the issue you experienced. Your safety and well-being are our top priorities, and we take incidents like this one very, very seriously. We want to assure you that we thoroughly clean all our wetsuits using specialized biological cleaners designed to eliminate bacteria and other contaminants. These cleaners are extremely effective as our guides, who wear the same wetsuits daily, have never encountered issues. We are surprised as, in 15 years of operation, this is the first time we've run into this issue. Please know we are not trying to dismiss you by any means! On the contrary, we completely understand your frustration and are already investigating further to ensure that nothing is being overlooked in our cleaning process. We thank you for your feedback as it helps us provide a safer and more enjoyable experience for everyone. Please feel free to reach out to info@vancouverwateradventures.com, and we’d be more than happy to discuss this further. Sincerely, VWA team
Amazing trip! Clay showed us around Howe Sound flat waters! Swims at Gambier and enjoyed the sun for the morning tour! Wow
Michael and Bryce are incredible guides! Friendly, knowledgeable about the area, history, and even geologic formations! Highly recommend an excursion both with this company and especially with these two guides!
Saw tons of amazing wildlife, and had a blast with our friends. Best thing we did on our trip to Vancouver! Thanks to everyone at VWA, and we’ll see you next time.
