Cette visite partagée au départ du Salento est l’occasion idéale de tout savoir sur le processus du café, de la graine à la tasse. Vous visiterez une ferme de café traditionnelle où vous pourrez participer à l'ensemble du processus de fabrication du café. De la plantation de semis et de la cueillette de cerises de café mûres à la dégustation d'une tasse fraîchement infusée, cette expérience courte mais immersive vous aidera à apprécier vraiment le voyage derrière chaque tasse de café. Itinéraire
Rendez-vous sur la place centrale du Salento, où votre groupe et votre guide se réuniront pour commencer la visite. Montez dans une Jeep Willys traditionnelle pour une balade panoramique dans une ferme de café avec plus de 100 ans d'histoire, nichée au milieu des collines vallonnées du triangle du café.
Suivez un expert en café à travers la plantation pour apprendre chaque étape du processus. Vous obtiendrez des informations pratiques en plantant des semis et en récoltant des cerises, puis observerez le séchage, la torréfaction et parfois le broyage des haricots dont la plupart sont encore faits à la main. Profitez d'une séance de dégustation guidée où les baristas locaux vous apprendront à identifier les traits du café colombien de haute qualité tout en répondant à toutes vos questions.
Après une expérience mémorable dans l’expérience du café, nous retournerons sur la place centrale du Salento, où la visite se terminera.

It was a very good tour. The guide explained everything well and the transportation was adequate. I think it’s pricey for the offering and less than an hour tour on the farm, but if convenience is a priority highly recommend.

This is a family run small farm, beautiful scenery, really learned about the whole process from bean to coffee in the cup. Our guide Nico was very knowledgable, helpful and attentive, as well as learning about the process you get to go into the ‘fields’, and pick the bean, we were given a tasty plantain snack and we drank the coffee we roasted and ground. Fully recommend this tour, we were a small group of 4, so the tour felt very personalised.

Stiven the guide for our coffee tour was amazing ! We learned so much about coffee and Colombia in general. Time was flying ! We get a coffee, then we get a little bit of history about coffee and Colombia and then we had the chance to pick up our coffee bean from the tree and after that view all the step to make a coffee from selecting the best bean to drying it, and then roast it… 200% and finally drink it ! I recommande it for friend couple or family or even solo !

We had a great trip to the coffee farm! Friendly people and great information!! Getting to ride in the jeep was fun too! It was definitely worth the price. Tour was from 1:30-4:30

My family and I went on this tour during our Christmas/end of the year vacation in the area. We are a mixed group of Colombians, Americans, and Brits, with varying levels of Spanish and English. Our guides were punctual, informative, and upbeat. We enjoyed learning about what makes Colombian coffee distinct and spending the day outside in the beautiful setting of the farm. The jeep ride was fun and the snacks we were offered were delicious. This is a great way to spend the afternoon in Salento, with time for shopping and food before and after.

This tour was absolutely fantastic, I would book it again in a heartbeat. Juan is a truly wonderful tour guide; he knows so much about the nature of Cocora Valley. He also shows you the different birds and flowers. Plus, he can give you great tips for your trip around Colombia. The Luger coffee tour was also very interesting; the staff there explained the entire coffee production process very well and showed us the coffee farm and how the coffee is made.
