Impact créé : + Soutenir un joyau caché : cet endroit est hors des sentiers battus, mais un certain nombre de villages l'entourent et dépendent de la région pour leurs revenus. + Emploi local : le canoë est loué localement, tout comme le capitaine, cela responsabilise la communauté locale mais est également idéal pour le voyageur qui peut bénéficier d'une immense connaissance du lieu. + Pas de moteurs : le Canoë est propulsé par l'énergie humaine (le capitaine rame et vous pouvez si vous le souhaitez !), ce qui signifie qu'il n'y a pas de moteur et pas de vapeurs sales entrant dans l'eau. + Communauté : les fonds de ce voyage se répercuteront sur la communauté en contribuant aux soins de santé, à l'emploi et à l'éducation.

Fantastic sunset in a relaxing environment and an excellent captain Omari
This is a very mellow canoe trip. Our guide was great. It’s a slow trip up the river and back down. Time to view and listen to the wildlife - lots or birds and bush babies. We could also hear traditional music and singing if a celebration in the woods. It was a nice evening.
Omari was a great guide, very friendly and super knowledgeable. He was calm, smiley and handled the canoe well. Lovely experience of a sunset canoeing down the river.
Omari was an amazing captain/guide on the canoe tour! He has a lot of knowledge about everything there is to know about the mangroves, the different species of birds, monkeys, etc. The unfortunate part was that it was a rainy day so the sunset wasn’t too amazing but we still got lucky with a little sunset which was great! I highly recommend this tour as it is almost like a meditation trip in itself.

The experience was amazing from the beginning to the end. Sham was kind and shared a lot about Travel4Purpose's mission to give back to society. We had a calming, almost meditative sail in the Kongo Strait where we spotted different kinds of mangrove trees and a variety of bird species. Our guide, Omar, was very informative and intentional about how he wanted us to enjoy. The sunset was so amazing that no one wanted to leave. Very pleasant boat tour on the Congo River. We saw some birds, crabs, and lungfish, and Omari explained everything expertly. The sunset was the most beautiful part 🌅 We took a Tuk-Tuk from the hotel (be sure to negotiate beforehand, as the drivers otherwise demand excessively high prices). It was our last day of vacation, making it a wonderful conclusion. Highly recommended.
