⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An absolutely brilliant trip – driving fun, action, and top-notch service! Anyone looking for action and a lot of fun on Gran Canaria is in the right place with Maspalomas Buggy Pirates! We had an absolutely fantastic experience that we will not soon forget. The service & the organization: Even before the actual start, the team shone with first-class service: The organization – from the punctual pickup directly at the hotel to the relaxed return trip – went absolutely smoothly and professionally. The guides' phenomenal language skills were particularly impressive. No matter the language, everything was explained in a way that was understandable, relaxed, and with a great dash of humor for every guest. How professional the team really is became apparent when we unfortunately had a breakdown of our buggy during the tour. Without long hesitation or waiting time, a replacement vehicle was immediately made available to us by a guide, so that the ride could continue immediately without any significant interruption. That was really handled in a first-class manner! The tour, the terrain & the atmosphere: The tour itself was incredibly fun! The atmosphere in the team and among the participants was simply contagiously good from start to finish. You really head out into the terrain, where you get shaken up quite well – real off-road feeling, after all! Along the way, several stops are also made where you can enjoy the view and, if necessary, easily switch drivers. An important tip for those who follow: You should definitely think carefully beforehand about what you wear! It is a real off-road tour – it gets dusty, it kicks up dirt, and your clothes will definitely get dirty. So it is best to wear things where a little dust and dirt are not a problem. But that is simply part of the adventure! Conclusion: An all-around successful adventure with a great team that reacts super quickly and in a customer-oriented way, even during small mishaps. Service top-notch, fun factor huge, and the atmosphere unbeatable. Absolute recommendation for every Gran Canaria vacation!

We had the most amazing time on 29/06/2026, and we honestly can't thank you all enough. From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed and looked after. Your commitment to safety was clear throughout the entire excursion, which gave us complete peace of mind and allowed us to relax and enjoy every single moment. The whole experience was absolutely unforgettable, and every member of the team played a part in making it so special. We truly loved everything about the day and have come away with memories we'll treasure forever. We'll definitely be booking again and can't wait to come back. Affordable, and a lot of fun!!

We are so glad we booked onto this buggy tour which is something we wanted to do since booking our holiday to Gran Canaria. The trip was an amazing experience from start to finish. The guides were full of energy and you could tell they love what they do! On the off road part, our buggy engine did cut out a few times but the guides assisted us quickly and made sure everything was okay. Many thanks to everyone involved who made us feel safe and comfortable throughout.

This was a fantastic way to get up to the higher part of the island and see lots, and was great fun to drive and not worry about potholes! There is about 10 mins of driving on the roads, but you are in a convoy, so there is no real issue there if you are not confident of driving abroad. The team were great fun and kept the energy high. We've received our (bought) video which does include everyone on the same trip, so very little of it is us, but hey, we're not likely to be doing this again, so a great way to remember it. There are spare buggies following, so on our trip, one broke down, so they swapped them into the spare, so no time was lost on the event. Opportunities were given for swapping drivers a few times, so we both got roughly equal time. The only negative we had in the whole event was the Viator app - it gave a grid reference and map showing exactly where we had to stand to be collected. We were there early but no-one showed up. Messaged the company via the app, no reply, so phoned the number stated, ended up speaking with Viator. They got hold of Buggy Pirates who contacted me to find out where we were - well, right where we were told to stand as per the app! They sent Lucian out to collect us, so we missed the group safety briefing, therefore received individual briefing quickly before setting out. It is great to be picked up and delivered back, but if you book this, do ask for a what3words reference or exact road/hotel spot. You need to be prepared to get dusty and dirty, possibly muddy if it's been raining (very rare!) But do not wear white, and cover as much of the skin as possible - sunburn and windburn, plus possibly stones and gravel kicked up. The dust gets everywhere, so wear a snood and if you can, something over your hair - felt so dry afterwards.

Absolutely brilliant tour. By far the best off road buggy experience ive had. Sebastian our guide was great and encouraged us to have a laugh. Plenty of off road where you can really test the buggies.

Couldn’t fault any of it. It was jam packed with fun from start to finish.
