Tour guide met us at our hotel and dropped us off back at our hotel, which as wonderful. He was very nice and knowledgeable. We really enjoyed that part. The glass making was fun to watch but after they made us walk through their sales floor with a very high pressure salesman that followed us around and even closed off the exit. It was very uncomfortable.
The tour was great! Giovanni was very personable and friendly. He knew a lot about the town, answered all of our questions. Easy and worry-free.
Selena was an excellent and very friendly tour guide. She ensured we had a great view of the Grand Canal and the glass blowing was great to see.
Our guide met us at our designated location near our hotel. She was born and raised in Venice. Very knowledgeable and spoke English well. We were in a private taxi that she had arranged. She narrated our tour up the grand canal. It was a sunny but cold day. The boat was comfortable and well sheltered for crossing to Murano. We were taken to a private glass blowing demonstration and then through the family’s large display of glass pieces. Restrooms were available here. Then a taxi was arranged to take us back to our starting point. Wonderful way to see the heart of Venice and a taste of Murano!
It’s definitely worth it to book a private tour. Giovanni was a great tour guide - very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. The glass manufacturing on Murano was stunning! Mum and I really enjoyed ourselves!
This tour exceeded all expectations. Giovanni os an exceptional tour guide Boats and captains were perfect. Glass factory and show room were amazing.
It was a great 2 hour tour. Eleonora was our guide. She met us at our hotel and walked us to the boat. We first toured the grand canal. Eleanora had a wealth of knowledge about Venice which was great. She was very pleasant. The boat ride to the glass factory was smooth. It was cool to see the two different items be made out of glass. We were given an option for drop off and chose Rialto so that we could grab dinner. There is a shop at the glass factory if you want to purchase anything.
Giovanni was a wonderful tour guide. The tour to Murano was lovely and it was fantastic to see the master at work.
Excellent experience! The boat tour was gorgeous through the canal. The Murano glass tour was so worth it as well. Would highly recommend!
Eleanor was a wonderful guide. She gave us a real education on the history of Venice and what’s going on in the city today.
