We had an amazing time!!! I truly recommend this company they are great!!! Capitão Vasco and Tiago they were amazing ! Thank you so much for a great time!!! From pessoal da Terceira Açores!!!
We had a fabulous time with Vasco and Tiago! We were late, so we ended up behind the captain’s seat and it was like a private boat tour and a comedy club at the same time! Great people, very knowledgeable, and made us incredibly comfortable. Absolutely recommend! Lisa and Olivia Lisagrace@optimum.net
Tio our tour guide suggested anyone with spinal problems sit in the rear of the boat The embarkation process was a free for all and we ended up with the worst seats possible directly at the front and given our age of 70yrs wasn't a good start.I would question the decision of the skipper to take the boat out as the sea was already rough. We left portamao and completed the tour on the way out, during which time water came into the boat and we got a fair good soaking as well as enduring pain to.our spines as we rode the waves and sustained the impact of that in the dips of the waves. If that wasn't enough Tio disappeared with the skipper at the rear of the boat for the 25 minute return journey.we then found out why. The skipper started speeding on the water which resulted in the waves coming into the boat full on when we could no longer see breathe or hear we were literally hanging on for dear life add to this we sustained further increased impact to our spines in the dips of the waves.By the time we disembarked we felt properly physically beaten up.The trip was never advertised as a speedboat/thrill type of experience. The return journey was definitely staged but not only that dangerous. Its appalling to think you take good money and potentially give someone a cardiac arrest.
Tiago and the captain were great!
An amazing experience with a wonderful guide (Tiago ?sp) who was characterful and knowledgable. Boarding is not easy, there are no signs or uniforms so it is really hard to identify where you should be. The City should really let companies put signage up! Our initial boat left without us - we had gotten there an hour early and were standing at the Clube Naval. A nearby competing company had told us we were in the right place. The team were very apologetic and did sort out a later trip but when travelling with kids and grandparents this makes life difficult! Would recommend companies even having a little portable sign or something identifiable the guide could carry.
Recently took this tour of the sea caves and it was so much fun! Our cruise ship had a day in Portimao and this tour was the perfect way to see the caves. The starting point was just a 10-15 minute walk from where our tender boat docked. The boat driver did a good job of not making the boat skip up and down, and the guide, Tiago, was great about pointing out different shapes in the rock formations. I would definitely recommend this tour.
We were a little concerned to find out that ours was the smallest boat , only 10 people, but it turned out to be the best for seeing the caves. Great value for the 2 hour trip. Would highly recommend!
Thiago our guide was funny and helpful with questions. The boat ride was on a fast boat so not ideal for the old or infirmed but the speed helped cover a lot of ground within the 2 hours. The boat even made a slight detour to see the dolphins who appeared halfway. The caves were gorgeous esp on a sunny day.
Fun trip to the caves. Waves were thrilling, everybody on the boat got wet. The views are amazing. Worth doing for sure
Boat ride, caves and guide were great. However, confusion at the dock on who the representative was. No sign or other identifying marks on who our company was. The other companies who we didn't book through were not helpful in pointing out where we should go. Finally when most people left on their boats I ask someone who said we belonged with them.
