Itinéraire
Au départ de la région de La Canée, notre excursion en bateau vous emmène le long de la superbe côte de la péninsule d'Akrotiri, loin de la foule. Vous croiserez devant des baies pittoresques comme Kalathas et Machairida, avec des arrêts pour nager et faire de la plongée guidée dans des eaux claires et peu profondes. Un des points forts est la visite de l'impressionnante grotte bleue, où la lumière du soleil se reflète à l'intérieur de la roche pour créer un effet bleu rougeoyant inoubliable. Notre Guide assure une entrée sûre à la grotte, soit par bateau ou courte baignade, selon les conditions de la mer. En chemin, détendez-vous sur le pont et profitez du paysage côtier paisible.
Nous jetons l'ancre près de la magnifique région de Marathi, connue pour son calme, ses eaux claires et ses paysages côtiers époustouflants. C'est l'un des meilleurs endroits de la région pour la plongée en apnée - idéal pour tous les niveaux de compétence. This was a small group snorkel excursion. They picked us up from cruise port and the driver was friendly and helpful. The staff of the Chania Diving Center were simply outstanding. They outfitted us with the required gear and were careful to make sure that we all had the correct sizes etc. The boat was very nice and comfortable. The Snorkeling guides were excellent. Basil was our guide on the first of the two snorkeling sights and he was great. I am sorry that I cannot remember the boat Captain and the other snorkel guides names, but they were great as well. The snorkeling sites were lovely, and we saw lots of beautiful marine life.
The pickup point was super easy for someone on a cruise. The trip to the marina where the boats were was about 15 minutes. I was on a regular boat. Others from my ship were on a RIB. There were 2 stops for snorkeling. Both had crystal clear water and a decent amount of fish. I saw a spotted moray and others saw an octopus. Basil and Orestes were good guides. They include SSI snorkel certification, something fairly new. There were very good briefings by Basil and both he and Orestes were in the water and kept a close eye on everyone but without restricting us.
From a timely free pick-up to a boat ride and snorkeling, our experience was great. Captain Panagiotis and his crew were all very friendly and took a great care of us. We felt very safe the entire time and thanks to their snorkeling tutorial we all became instant snorkeling fans. It was a perfect half-day excursion that made our stay in Crete even more special.

Primarily a snorkeling trip. Staff was warm, knowledgeable, and super accommodating. Great with kids. We were on a boat with another family of four and one single traveller who was scuba diving. Equipment was great and wetsuits much appreciated. Water was crystal clear, saw beautiful schools of fish. Lovely excursion!
Basil and Andrea were the absolute best! Had a really great time and both were very informative and a great laugh. Highly recommend this activity!!
Jared was a wonderful guide. He made us feel prepared and relaxed as we snorkeled in the crystal clear bay. Such a beautiful experience and also some time to relax on the boat and in the water after snorkeling. Definitely recommend!
Flawless communication with Christina. From organizing the boat to the itinerary to the pick ups to the destination. Perfect. Three of us were diving with Andreas. Who took us to interesting locations. Even managed to conjure an octopus at the end. Panos took the rest of the family snorkeling. He was extremely patient and good with kids. He will sleep tonight well. The water is absolutely flawless. The colors are amazing. When we were getting back on the Disney cruise ship, the kids said that this was their best day ever. And these kids have traveled the world. I would 100% use this company again.
