Préparez-vous pour une promenade en bateau qui parle moins de trésor enfoui que de trésor vivant! Nous nous dirigeons vers le lagon lumineux, un endroit où l'eau s'anime à la nuit tombée. Oubliez votre croisière moyenne au coucher du soleil, car lorsque les étoiles surgissent, quelque chose de vraiment magique se produit sous la surface. Des millions de petites bestioles minuscules, appelées dinoflagellés (disons cinq fois vite!), vivent dans ces eaux où la rivière Martha Brae rejoint la mer des Caraïbes. Et devine quoi ? Quand ils sont bousculés – comme par notre bateau ou, mieux encore, vous éclaboussures – ils s’allument ! On parle d'une étrange lueur chatoyante et électrique bleu-vert qui ressemble à quelque chose tout droit sorti d'un film fantastique. Pendant notre croisière, vous verrez le sillage de notre bateau laisser une trace étincelante. Jetez un peu d'eau et regardez-la éclater dans un éclat de lumière. Et pour les vrais aventuriers, vous pouvez même sauter pour nager et devenir vous-même une merveille rougeoyante!

Itinéraire
À leur arrivée au Lagoon, les voyageurs seront accueillis par un membre du personnel bien formé et courtois, une boisson gratuite sera offerte avant de monter à bord du bateau. Le capitaine embarquera ensuite pour une balade en bateau de 5 minutes tout en expliquant le phénomène du Lagon. Dès qu'il aura trouvé un endroit convenable, il ancrera le bateau et permettra aux voyageurs de nager pendant quelques minutes, après quoi il retournera au quai et les voyageurs pourront sortir du bateau.

Les véhicules porteront l'inscription « JUTA TOURS 912 MC » à l'avant et à l'arrière. Les voyageurs seront avisés de la description du véhicule s'il y a des changements. Les heures de prise en charge varient selon les lieux. Les voyageurs doivent communiquer avec nous pour confirmer le lieu et l'heure de ramassage.

The boat Captain was funny and informative!! He told us every detail to expect in a funny and entertaining way!! It was a very cool experience in brackish water!! We experienced the glowing in the water just like the pictures on the internet! Great experience!! Even before the boat there was a fun vibe at the waiting area, where you could have food with your complimentary drink. There were a lot of passengers that went out and the staff were all friendly, polite and professional!!
The only reason I’m giving two stars instead of one is because the driver was great, aside from that this was a pretty poor experience. First, it should be fully explained to anyone doing this that tickets for the ride are not pre-purchased or reserved so when you arrive you will have to wait behind everyone who got there before you. We ended up having to wait more than 90 minutes for our turn to go which completely ruined our night because we didn’t end up finishing and returning back to our hotel until very late at night. Second, the place is LOADED with mosquitoes and you will be miserable getting bitten by them while you wait and the greedy opportunistic gift shop there will gladly sell you bug spray for $20 USD (add $5 more if you’re paying with credit card). Yes the glowing light in the water is cool, but having to wait several hours when you include driving time and getting attacked by mosquitoes the whole time will ruin the experience for most people.
We are so sorry you had a bad experience Bryan, we will be sure to have bug spray in our vehicles, also some evenings there will always be a large crowd ahead of you, whether we pre book or not. Thanks again for the feedback.
The tour was absolutely amazing. Me and my bestfriend enjoyed the beautiful water, which was really cold but felt so good after we went in. Our driver was super nice and very informative. Definitely a 10/10 overall. Will definitely be back and with more friends.

I recommend visiting the Luminous Lagoon. It is a rare opportunity to swim and watch the water turn a bright blue around you. My only complaint is that Viator listed the time on my ticket for 4pm which was actually 2 hours too early.
