A great morning trip to do. Lots of sites but not too long at anywhere. Our driver guide was superb and helpful. Thank you very much.
The tour was good, except that we were led into two shops where one was naturally expected to buy something. I don't like that at all. If I want to buy something, then of my own free will and not because one is specifically led there. Because of this, unfortunately, almost half the time in the town had already passed, which I found a real shame.
Very nice trip to explore the island of Djerba, with an air-conditioned limousine and a private tour guide who spoke good German. The tour guide was born and raised on Djerba and was able to provide many beautiful insights. Gladly again.
Excursion done by VOYAMAR for half a day. Everything was done from a commercial perspective, a visit to a potter but 20 minutes in the shop and 30 minutes in a beauty products store when it was announced to discover essential oils, the museum was rushed through even though it is magnificent. The cherry on top was the announcement that the visit to the synagogue is impossible due to cleaning since the day before! We therefore "lingered" in Houm Souk, still guided by the guide in "Her Shops" to extend the unfinished excursion under a scorching heat. A blatant theft. Take a taxi and explore the island at your leisure!
We were picked up on time and just had one more couple to collect. ROMAN BRIDGE - it was actually better to see the bridge from a distance rather than where we parked at the end of it. POTTERY - nice little demonstration and shop. MUSEUM - quite a large museum , very interesting. DJERBAHOOD - it was difficult to visit as we were just left there for 45 minutes and didn't know where to go or what to see. It would be good to have had a guide. We were meant to visit the Souke but were offered a choice of Souke or Spanish Castle. We went to the castle but only walk round the outside, I thought that we were going to go in. Overall a good trip, the guide told us lots of information about living in Tunsia.
The tour was very nice to discover Djerba Island. The only thing was that the Synagogue was closed because of a Jewish celebration.
I had the chance to discover the heritage of Djerba with Bader Mares, and I recommend this experience very warmly. Being solo, the tour has turned into a real tailor-made discovery. Bader adapted the itinerary to my interests and answered all my questions, with a lot of knowledge and passion for the history and culture of the island. I learned a lot throughout the half day. Special mention for two absolutely magical moments: the beautiful sunset, and the experience of the iftar by the sea, an authentic and very moving moment. If you want to discover Djerba differently, with a cultivated, attentive and passionate guide, I recommend Bader Mares without hesitation.
Superb morning with driver and incredible guide! To recommend with your eyes closed really it’s great
Exciting tour, humorous guide. Unfortunately, the synagogue was not approached, although it was on the program (without giving a reason).
Visit of the island djerba with Nasser: respect of timing, time granted for each visit but big downside on communication. Our guide did not talk to us much, no explanation or history about the places visited, he just took us to the places of visit in silence.
