Excursion de deux jours : canyon de Colca avec équitation au départ d'Arequipa

The condors were incredible to see, but there was so much other great Peruvian ancient history and natural beauty to enjoy. Extremely professional tour arrangement - great sites from comfortable bus and horseback. Every bit done for our satisfaction. Highly recommended.

Condors were the highlight, but the tour was so professionally done, and there was so much more ancient and impressive Peru to see from the comfortable bus and from horseback. Hot springs, hotel, and coordination were outstanding. Highly recommended.

Tour guide is very help and nice . He introduced Inca history and all things happen during the tour. Horse man is very experienced and care about us a lot , horse are all trained well . It was all a unforgettable memory.

The tour wasn‘t as nice as expected. It is too expensive for what it was! The bus drive to Chivay was Okay although our guide Herman was not very enthousiastic as if he wouldn‘t really like to be there. When we arrived in Chivay, a local came to pick us up with the horse. The guide didn’t speak with us during the whole trip, he wouldn’t have given any information if we wouldnt have asked. His answers were always very short. Although we spoke in Spanish with him! The equipment for the riding was very uncomfortable. The trip to the Condor Cross was nice and we saw lots of them. The drive back to arequipa was horror! The driver Hector was very tired and I saw his eyes getting smaller and smaller in the mirror. As the road is very dangerous, I didn‘t feel safe at all. The guide fell asleep next to the driver. After I asked the driver to make a toilet break (not in order that I can pee but in order that he gets the break he definetley needed) But after the break, it wasn‘t better. I told our guide that I can see that the driver is tired and that it would maybe be a good idea to keep him awake. He laughed at me and told the driver 2 minutes later what I ve said (they didnt know I understand spanish!!) They laughed about me but the driver knew that I was right. He put some coca leaves in his mouth, put his glasses on and opened the window to stay awake...My critic is that he should have taken a break and the guide shouldn‘t sleep next to him but speak to him. It is his responsibility that his clients feel safe and..survive!! I wouldn‘t recommend this tour.

Awesome tour of Colca Canyon and the Colca Valley. Our guide, Juan Carlos, was great, especially since we were the only English speakers in the group. He made sure to single us out and explain things that we might have missed in Spanish. Plus the sights and stops along the way were well-chosen... the horseback ride was beautiful... and the overnight stay in Chivay was nice as well.The food was mediocre at best (buffets, price not included, chosen by the tour company), but the rest of the tour more than made up for it. Transportation was on time and the pickup and drop-off were super close to our hotel in Arequipa. Overall, a great find!

I had a great experience. Some days before the tour, I have been contacted by a viator employee (Gloria). She made sure all my questions were answered. They come to pick you up from your hotel/airbnb and then we had the long bus ride with multiple stops to see the Alpacas, Llamas and Vigognas. I was surprised because I was the only English speaker in the group. Most of the people were from different areas in Peru and doing the tour during their vacation. The guide was always speaking in Spanish, but she made sure I understood correctly and translated if I needed. The view was a little bit repetitive, but nice. We arrived at Chivay in the beginning of the afternoon and surprisingly, I was the only one of the group doing the horseback riding activity. It was my first time, but the local guide helped me. I had a very easygoing horse (12 years old named Roco). The view was amazing. The day after we spent some time in the Colca Canyon and again the view was amazing, but repetitive. We only saw 4-5 condors. It was very touristic as well and be careful if you are altitude sensitive. I recommend this activity.

The driver and guide were excellent. Our group was formed from various agencies. Very thorough advice was given on how to overcome altitude sickness. Get also prepared for motion sickness!!!! Getting to the Colca Canyon is about hours of zigzagging up and down gigantic mountains with dangerous curves, hence the amazing skills of the driver! The sites are breathtaking! The hotel in Chivay was acceptable. The horse-ride was ok. A two-hour in total, the landscapes were amazing but repetitive throughout. The canyon is majestic and so are the condors! Everything was timely and very well organized! Be prepared ;-)

well, online and offline, you have many options in Arequipa for the same tour to Colca Canyon, yet the prizes vary from USD 100 to USD 200. I Chose "Arequipa Tour" because they offer a fair prize, and because I don't want to go to the hot spring and they are the only one I found that offers an alternative: horse riding. Owner of the agency Gloria is a genuine person ans she takes case of everything. I was especially sastisfied with the hotel she arranged for me in Chivay, a good rest and a good breakfast are very important regarding the high altitude. 阿雷基帕出发去Colca大峡谷的两三日游各家旅行社的线路都差不多，其实就是各自揽客，再把大家集中交给一个导游，然后到Chivay后住不同的酒店。各旅行社的报价从一百到三百美金都有。我选这家，是因为他们的价钱很公道，而且我不喜欢泡温泉，他们帮我安排了骑马。旅行社老板Gloria是很淳朴的人，她会帮你安排好一切事情。她在Chivay定的酒店我很满意，在那种高海拔地区，好好休息加上不错的早餐非常重要
