Very fun an adventure Suitable length
Little concerned about no refunds policy. When we arrived it was not well organised but was a fantastic day. Great fun.
Top circuit of 2h30 in Berlin ..an experience to do with an original Trabant..not easy to drive
A great opportunity to see some of Berlin from a different perspective: by driving an iconic 600cc Trabi. Easy to locate meeting point. Reasonably priced at 180GBP for a couple’s two hour tour (we both drove given the opportunity to switch halfway). The Trabi was very authentic (a basic car with column mounted stick shift and immovable wing mirrors adding to the charm). Good commentary throughout via the radio system. We were very happy with our tour. It was a change from walking and we felt that we got a good introduction to areas of the city that we were later able to return to on foot once the tour had concluded.
A really fantastisch experience! On this tour you get to drive yourself an old Trabi through the Berlin traffic. You drive behind the guide, so not he is not in your car with you. While you’re driving the guide talks to you via an intercom in your car and explains the sights your driving past. You drive with a steering wheel stick shift, and the little cars have no heating (or a/c). Our tour was just three cars total, but the shorter tour of 1h15 was a group of 7 cars, which is nice to see.
So much fun! Our guide was hilarious and amazing. Great way to see the city. We took note of a few places we had originally missed to return to.
The Trabbi is a must experience when visiting Berlin before they disappear. Alex was a great tour guide, showing us the East and West Berlin. Based on his age, he had a first hand experience of living under the GDR regime and the changes following the reunification of Germany. Lots of history packed in just 2 hours of your.
What a fun way to see Berlin! The gear shift was a little different then my Golf R but you get use to it pretty fast! I would recommend this to anyone visiting Berlin! The hosts were amazing and interesting! Johan was our car docent and he was factual, personal and calming in heavy Berlin traffic!
This is great fun! My son had never driven stick before and figured it out. I had some trouble at a very busy intersection, so we had to switch, but we made it. Not for an anxious driver, as the streets are busy with cars, bikes, scooters, and pedestrians. But a great way to see a few must see sights and experience the city. People all over were taking photos of our convoy! We were able to hear our guide on the radio fine in the back seat. The guide waited patiently for drivers to catch up.
It was totally great, rode Trabant for the first time, great crew, great weather, friendly travel companion, a great experience who likes nostalgia
