My trip to Area 51 was cancelled due to bad weather. However, the touring company did offer to either rebook my tour or receive a full refund.
Hi Grady, Yes, we regret the cancellation. Safety is paramount. In 28 years and many thousands of tours we've never had an injury. We hope you come back, I'll do sometbing special for you. Very best, Will & Donna Tryon - Owners
4/19/26 A friend in the UK booked this trip through a company overseas for three of us, two who live in Vegas and himself with plans of coming in from the UK but unfortunately his vacation had to be cancelled at the last minute. Being that we have used this tour company before and we are not shy about communicating to make sure we have an amazing experience, we reached out to confirm the trip was still on. We talked to Patsy and being now just two of us, they were not sure if it would make good business sense to still go based on minimal seating requirements as stated on their website. Patsy did offer other days for us to go on the tour, but due to scheduled vacation days already approved other days were not good for us. We were offered the opportunity to purchase the third seat if no one else signed up so the tour could go on as scheduled. We were told they would keep reservations open for this tour on Sunday, until Saturday night to see if anyone else would request it. We called back on Wednesday to let them know we would pay for the third seat if no one signed up. They waited until Sunday morning to charge us for the third seat as no one signed up for the tour that day. For those who are wondering, no we did not get a discounted rate for that third seat because of current fuel prices and the fact that this is a business and they have overhead and have to stay afloat and we were perfectly fine supporting this amazing company. Communication from this company was above and beyond any tour company we have ever dealt with. We started receiving text message around 6:00am Sunday morning to let us know the driver was on his way and when he would be arriving so we didn’t have to wait on him and he didn’t have to wait on us. It was above and beyond and to us really showed how accommodating this company is if you communicate with them as well. We got to our pickup location 5 minutes early and Mike our driver was there waiting for us. He got us loaded in the suv and explained the tour we would be doing and the things we would be seeing. Our first stop was Janet Airlines. The planes are in a secured area but can be seen through the fence, that’s as close as you are going to get to those planes as they transport people to areas that are Top Secret and what’s on each plane, the people who have the clearance to fly on them know. It’s short stop and then we are on the road to Rachel, NV. Along the way, Mike who loves his job and has done a lot of research not to add he has a degree in history, he gives you an awesome education on the desert and mountains along the way. There is so much more to this desert, how it was formed and the species of plant life that grows out there. There is an extensive wild life that calls the desert home. Mike showed us a few books he got at the Alien Inn of the “Transcript of the Congressional Hearing on UAPs with David Grusch, Ryan Graves, and David Fravor July 26, 2023” and “The AREA 51 & S-4 handbook” which gives information about Area 51. We stooped in Alamo for a rest stop which is their local market and has some cool things to look at and a great place to grab some extra drink and snack if you want more than water. We stopped at the Extraterrestrial Highway sign which is cool to see and there are some green trees around here which is interesting in the middle of the desert. If you look at the desert as being more than just dirt, the mountains and skies are so majestic and beautiful. We stopped at a Joshua tree and Mike explained the growth and its life cycle. We then go to one gate of Area 51. Mike gives an extensive explanation of this gate and the base. It’s pretty cool to see the gate and the men in black as they are referred to sitting up on the hill watching you watching them. We then stopped at the Alien mailbox which keeps getting stolen but the pole which had always been used as a gathering sight is always there. Then we head to the main gate people who like to protest gather, why??? Area 51 is a Top Secret Base originally created by the CIA and eventually taken over by the U.S. Air Force to test secret military creations to help keep our country protected and free. Then it’s on to the Alien Inn for lunch. If you are expecting a Gourmet, organic style lunch, you have sad expectations. This is a very cool little bar, restaurant and small hotel in the middle of no where…it’s in Rachel, NV, it was created around the test sight that was put out there because of its remote location. After lunch we were off to the desert to see the hard packed clay which when dry is hard enough to land a plane on. Then we were headed back to Vegas with a stop at a gift shop and the long ride back to Alamo and on to Vegas. Mike is an excellent tour guide and being a Marine (which I put up with), he will tell you straight out, he will share with you all his knowledge he has obtained about anything and everything to and from. If you have questions, ask, he will answer them. If you want to talk, he is willing to talk about any subject you desire. If you desire to just stare out the window like a dog on a long trip, he is ok with that as well. Bottom line, a tour is what you make of it. Tour guides are here to make your experience the best it can be and if you ask questions, it makes it’s a more exciting day for all involved. Mike had water and snacks for us and was an awesome host for an awesome company. We HIGHLY recommend this company for any of the tours they provide and have an amazing time.

Hi Avner, Thank you so much for the incredible review! You should work for our company. Very best regards, Will & Donna Tryon - Owners
Start to finish this was a great day spent with lovely people. Earl picked up my husband, myself and 3 others. We all agreed that Earl exceeds many tour guides with his vast knowledge and experience while respecting the need to just enjoy the ride if you wish. We did not give him a break though, as he has so much to offer! This is a great tour, a very good company to work with, and Earl is a treasure!
Hey Steven, Thank you so much for the great review and so happy you had a fun day with Earl on your Area 51 Tour. That's a special tour and Earl is a Special Guy! Very best regards, Will & Donna Tryon - Owners
Our guide Clayton was awesome. I would highly recommend Clayton to anyone that is interested in this tour. If you want information on to and from as well as during the main visit to the outskirts of Area 51, Clayton is your guy. We had a great time and were able to visit both the main and back gates as well as the Little Alieinn, the Extraterrestrial Highway Sign, the Black Mailbox, the Alien Research Center, The Alien Cowpoke Gas and General Store, ET Fresh Jerkey store as well as a dry lake bed. Would highly recommend this trip to anyone who would like to wants to have a fun time.

My husband booked me this tour as its on my bucket list of things to do. We were greeted by our guide Michael, what a funny, intelligent and interesting man. He made everyone on board feel at ease and talked about everything and anything plus was very knowledgeable about plants, mountains and the areas we visited. He was great at getting the right photos so that we would remember the tour well. Michael was aways asking if we needed water, handed out snacks and even added an extra stop for one of the passengers onboard. The conversations included all on the tour which was nice. I would recommend this tour and Michael.
Hi Joanna, Thank you so much for the wonderful review of our Area 51 Tour and our guide Michael. He is a really nice man, we love that guy! Comon back there is so much yet to see! Very best reagrds, Will & Donna Tryon - Owners
We had such a great trip out to Area 51 today! Our guide, Kirk, was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and kept us engaged with fascinating information the entire time. The small group of just five people made the experience feel personal and relaxed. It was the perfect mix of fun, mystery, and learning. Highly recommend this tour if you’re looking for something unique and memorable! Added bonus was we were able to get a picture of the Las Vegas sign without a lot of people.
Hello and thank you so much for the wonderful review. Area 51 is a blast and Kirk makes it even better. Very best regards, Will & Donna Tryon - Owners
We were picked up promptly at 6:30 am, the tour guide then picked up a group of 4 and we started our trip by going to an airport where we could see nothing. Our guide described the trip as how much we would not be able to see. After that we headed to Area 51, we had multiple stops, plenty of rest breaks and snack opportunities. As we got close to the first gate out there we were circled by a military chopper! That was so exciting and scary. We got pictures and videos. We went for lunch after that and had lots to talk about, the alien tequila was a hit! After lunch (no fries) we went to the second entrance to Area 51 , we were able to see more military equipment but still not much. We had a nice ride back. Our guide Clayton was very chatty and informative The other guests on the tour were all wonderful people.
Hi Daniela, Thank you for the review. Very best, Will & Donna
