Highlights of the Trip: • Scenic Drive Through the Atlas Mountains: The journey itself was stunning! We stopped at breathtaking viewpoints in the High Atlas Mountains, including the famous Tizi n’Tichka Pass, which had panoramic views that were absolutely mesmerizing. • Ait Ben Haddou & Dades Valley: Visiting the UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou was like stepping into a movie set (literally—it’s been featured in so many films!). The architecture and history were fascinating. Dades Valley, with its winding roads and dramatic rock formations, was another unforgettable stop. • Sahara Desert & Camel Trekking: The true highlight was reaching Merzouga and riding camels into the dunes of Erg Chebbi at sunset. The golden sand stretching endlessly around us felt surreal. The overnight camp was comfortable, with traditional Berber music around a bonfire, delicious food, and a sky full of stars—something I’ll never forget!
