En tant que leader du secteur, nous estimons qu'il est de notre devoir de confier toutes nos visites à des professionnels. Nos excursions avec tuba avec des lamantins sont guidées par le capitaine de l'USCG ainsi que par un professionnel de la plongée agréé et assuré. Nos professionnels aquatiques sont formés en tant que premiers intervenants, avec une formation en premiers secours, en RCR, en administration de DEA et en sauvetage dans l'eau. Le capitaine et les guides sont également formés aux bonnes manières des lamantins, par le biais de la Manatee Eco Tourism Association, en coordination avec le United States Fish and Wildlife Service. La formation nous permet de diriger l'industrie en organisant les excursions sur l'eau les plus sûres pour nos invités et les lamantins.

Be prepared to have a fun filled time and learn so much about the sea life you are swimming with our family had a blast !!!
We went for the 7am snorkeling tour in early Aug. The staff were wonderful- Misty at the front office, Captain Glenn, and our in water guide Jessica. Even though August is not manatee season, the captain and guide assured us that we would find a manatee and they did. Captain Glenn took the newbies to the side for a quick class which I appreciated as it was my 10 yr old’s first time snorkeling. It felt crowded as we had to take turns with other groups to get manatee time and each group had ~10 people hovering over 1 manatee. They took us to another spring area where we could swim and snorkel. Unfortunately there weren’t fish in that area but it was still a good experience (we got to see bubbling sand underwater). There was hot chocolate, hot coffee, hot water, tea bags, and snacks on the boat. The captain and guide were knowledgeable about manatees, wildlife, and were happy to answer questions and provide suggestions for things to do in the area. Overall great experience. Just know you are not likely to see more than 1 or 2 manatees, tons of fishes, or other wildlife in Aug.
From start to finish, this excursion was simply perfect! Our tour guide Michelle and our captain Glenn were incredibly friendly, warm, and professional. They told us a lot of interesting information about the manatees and the surrounding area throughout the entire tour. Every question was answered patiently, clearly, and with a smile. The absolute highlight was, of course, that we were actually able to see manatees and were even allowed to snorkel with them – an unforgettable experience! You could immediately tell how much the guides care about the animals and the well-being of the guests. We felt in the best of hands the entire time and would book this tour again anytime. An absolutely amazing time! We went out of season but Steve and Reggie knew where to go to find manatees. We found a mom and baby and snorkeled around them for quite a while. Then we swam in the spring which was so clear - breathtaking actually. Steve and Reggie made the experience amazing and made us feel very comfortable with them and the manatees. They were knowledgeable about the area and animals and it was obvious they have a deep respect for nature and the safety of the manatees. I would highly recommend doing this tour. We weren’t sure about going off season but it worked out great because my 22yr old daughter and I ended up being the only ones on the tour at that particular time and snorkeling with the 2 manatees was perfect, TBH I can’t imagine going when there are tons of people and manatees after the experience we had.
Had an absolutely amazing time. Captain Steve and Celeste were so amazing. They helped my son and made sure he had the best adventure. All of our pictures turned out so cool.
Even though we were out of season they found a mother and calf and a few others to swim with. Amazing trip, highly recommend. Family of 5 the springs were crystal clear.
Michelle at Paddletail Waterfront Adventures was an excellent guide. She was knowledgeable about the manatees and surrounding areas. Michele did an amazing job making sure we were able to observe the manatees in a safe and respectful manner. Overall, we had a great time! It was so cool to see the manatees up close!
