We’re avid travellers and chose to book directly with Look at Egypt Tours rather than through a NZ agent, not only for their great reviews but also their responsiveness and detailed guidance. Having visited Egypt before, we wanted a more flexible, tailored experience, and they delivered. Yasmine, our booking agent, was outstanding managing changes, requests, and even a last-minute addition to our group with ease. She made everything stress-free. On the ground, Ezz was brilliant, staying in touch, confirming pick-ups, and ensuring we were looked after until departure. Our drivers and Egyptologists, Sammy (Cairo) and Mo (Aswan–Luxor), were fantastic. We had a private, customised tour with excellent English-speaking guides, seamless airport escorts, and impeccable service. Over nine nights (Cairo, Aswan–Luxor cruise, and Hurghada) with four friends, everything was flawless. Highly recommend—these guys won’t disappoint!

Amazing service from booking online via emails up to pick up and drop off at airports. We had a private tour for 4 of us. Our guides were fantastic. Very responsive to any needs. Our lunch in the Nubian village was a highlight as was Abu Simbel and our hot air ballooning. Only recommendation would be to include tips in total cost and have guides look after these. It feels like every time you turn around someone else wants a tip. Other than that - amazing landscape, amazing accomodation ( Old Cataract Hotel in Aswan AMAZING!!), delicious food. Highly recommend.

This tour company was amazing. We were an 8 person geoup. Hands down the smoothest experience I've had traveling EVER. Mahmoud met us when we got off of our plane and brought us through immigration and customs, making the event easy and streamlined. He was in constant contact with us throughout the trip, checking in and making sure everything was going according to plan, adjusting as needed. The amount of things we saw each day was perfect. Some days were long, but well worth it imo. I cannot express in words just how easy it was communicating with everyone involved as we worked out our trip, even mid-week, adding extra activities on a few days to really enhance our experience. Michael in Cairo/Giza spoke, explained, and understood very well every question we asked. Mohamed during our Luxor/Aswan cruise was exceedingly knowledgeable, personable, and easygoing. The several drivers who transported us everywhere were excellent. While they didn't speak great English, they were polite, respectful, and drove very well through the chaos that is the streets of Egypt. All in all I would highly, highly recommend this tour to anyone going to Egypt. What I will say is do your research when considering extra experiences if you're a budget traveler. Some of their extra experiences were pricey and worth it while others it was more cost effective to do it on our own but use the company for transportation to and from where we wanted to go. 10/10 experience overall, very happy we chose them.

Great all the time. The Walid guide was sensational. He took care of everything all the time so that everything worked. The guide Emad, speaking perfect Portuguese was great to show us the Cairo jutnto as driver Sameh (Job). And in Luxor and Aswan the guide Ali proved to be a great acquaintance of Egyptian culture. I recommend this tour to everyone.

My mom and I had the most amazing experience. Wonderful guides. Egypt is beautiful and feels far safer than places like Mexico. Transportation was in very nice clean modern vans with excellent drivers. We were well taken care of from the moment we stepped off the airplane in Cairo until the end of our trip. We made so many memories it’s difficult to describe them all. We did add an extra day in Luxor to see Abydos and Dendera. I’m a little difficult with food as I don’t eat bread. Everyone was incredibly kind and accommodating. Food in our hotel and on our cruise was AMAZING.

This was a very comprehensive and mostly all inclusive trip that is a truly a VIP experience. I had my own guide(s) and driver(s) throughout the tour that catered to my every need. It really maximized my time in Egypt. If you are looking to make the most of your Egyptian vacation I strongly recommend taking a look at LookAt Egypt tours. The guides were knowledgeable and friendly. The drivers were patient and safe. The coordinators were charismatic and accommodating. Everyone contributed to making this a once in a lifetime experience.

Look at Egypt tours were amazing. Mr Mahmoud picked us up from the airport and made sure every details was arranged from start to finish of our trip. They arranged a luxury trip- guides Mohamed and Randa made the experience of understanding the sites so much better than if we were there by ourselves. They arranged all the accommodation and it was exactly as they described. There was always a private modern air conditioned minivan to take us from place to place with a driver we came to know well called Abdo. We felt safe all the time. I was travelling with 2 grandma's and my teenage son and we had a ball! To top it off, Mahmoud even arranged a surprise birthday cake and dinner for us, which was very touching. We requested some last minute changes like kayaking in Aswan- no problem. How about hot air balloon in Luxor- easy. They just made it happen. If you are looking for an amazing company to make your Egypt experience seamless and hassle free, look no further. I thoroughly recommend them and would use them again for sure.

We (my spouse and I) got a recommendation to use Look At Egypt Tours, which my friends had used for their trip a few months before. The communications with the company were almost seamless, though I had one email that remained unanswered right before our flights. All our guides, Hannah, Wahid, Mohammed and our driver Abrahim were very reliable and enjoyable. There was one time when a miscommunication between us and one of the guides caused a little tension, but that was easily solved. The Nile cruise was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. What a thrill to be on the river with the lush green of the shore and the desert mountains in the distance. As Americans, we are used to tipping for service, and I would recommend people who haven't been to Egypt get an idea who to tip, when, and how much. The exchange rate is very favorable right now, which is an added plus. Also, driving in Cairo is not for the faint of heart. Don't plan on renting a car there. I am so glad we made the trip. Navigating Egypt can sound scary reading reviews of travelers that have gone and not prepared. Mahmoud Hafny, Yasmeen and their team took that stress away and facilitated an experience that we are so glad we did. Egypt with its people and its sights are incredible and should be on any travelers bucket list. Special shout out to our tour guides Mohamed Shata, Mohamed Farah and our driver Amr. They spent so much time with us and made our experience in Egypt an excellent one. The tour was well organized and our every need taken care of. We had some extra requests like bag storage which their team graciously made easy for us. One of our hotels didn’t book the requested room type for us and despite the hotel being full Mahmoud worked so hard to get us the right rooms and made it happen in the end. There was no magic that they could not make happen for us. We really felt like we could ask them anything and they had a solution for everything. Trying to navigate Egypt without them would have been much more difficult. We came for the ancient sights which are awe-inspiring and truly one of a kind. But we will leave with memories of so much more than that. The mysteries of a civilization 5000 years old. The incredible flavours of the food. And of course, Egyptian hospitality and the warmth of its people. Highly recommend to anyone considering going!
