Excursion d'une journée sur les volcans Cotopaxi et Quilotoa au départ de Quito

Great experience! I had Andres as my guide and Jimmy as my driver. Both were very kind, prompt, informative. Jimmy was an excellent driver, so glad I did the tour so I didnt have to drive those windy roads myself. Andres provided ample knowledge during the drive and will at each of the stops. Would highly recommend this tour Note: I am an active hiker, the elevation really got to me. Was surprised by it but Andres was so kind and helpful along the way.

We had an absolutely amazing day touring Cotopaxi and Quilotoa with Irene! Since we were the only two on the tour, she personalized the entire experience to match our interests and let us explore at our own pace. She was incredibly warm, welcoming, and spoke excellent English, making it easy to learn so much about Ecuadorian history, traditions, and culture throughout the day. One of the highlights was visiting an authentic indigenous restaurant where we had the opportunity to try guinea pig—a unique cultural experience we never would have found on our own. Irene also took us to a local artisan shop where we purchased beautiful souvenirs made from real llama fur. Both Cotopaxi Volcano and Quilotoa Lagoon were absolutely breathtaking and exceeded all of our expectations. The scenery was unforgettable, and Irene’s knowledge and passion made the experience even more special. If you’re visiting Quito, this tour is an absolute must-do, and we can’t recommend Irene enough. She truly made our one day in Ecuador unforgettable!

My sister and I joined this tour to explore Cotopaxi and the beautiful natural landscapes outside Quito. Our guide and driver, Ayrton, was friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming. He drove us about an hour outside the city to Cotopaxi National Park. We started with a brief visit to an educational center before continuing toward the volcano. Although it was a cloudy day, we were still able to catch glimpses of the glaciers near the summit. Ayrton was great about stopping for photos and helping us spot local wildlife along the way. We then visited a nearby lagoon, where we took pictures and learned more about the area’s natural history. Next, we drove through several small towns, stopping in Tigua to visit a well-known artisan shop. From there, we continued to the Quilotoa Lagoon Reserve. We walked to the lookout point for stunning views of the lagoon, took plenty of photos, and enjoyed a short hike down into the crater before making the climb back up in time for lunch. After lunch, we began the long journey back to Quito. Despite the distance, we arrived with enough time to watch Ecuador play their FIFA World Cup match. This tour involves a full day of sightseeing and quite a bit of driving, but Ayrton made the experience enjoyable from start to finish. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to experience two of Ecuador’s most iconic natural landmarks.

Our guide was excellent. We had one get altitude sickness (we are from sea level) and they were great and stopped when we needed and helped get us what we needed. We didn’t get to do all the hiking that we wanted to but that was because of us, not the tour. Couldn’t have asked for more from the agency.

We had a great day to Cotopaxi and quilotoa with Pedro. We had good weather and were able to see both volcanos. Pedro was very personable and was a wealth of knowledge for everything we were experiencing

It is an experience that is worth it. The guide was very pleasant and attentive at all times. Always willing to answer questions and provided very good information about all the sites we visited.

Lucia and Andrés were fantastic guides. They helped me understand the area, history and ecology of both Cotopaxi and Quilotoa. They were incredibly accommodating and helpful. Highly recommend them!

Very good day. Got lucky on weather. The sites were beautiful and Andres did a great job. Our driver, Jimmy, did a great job too. Lots of time driving but some really good scenery. Saw wild horses, llamas, white tail deer, cara cara, coots, andean gulls... Would recommend but weather could impact views

Touring with Pedro was exactly what we needed! Everything ran seamlessly. His knowledge and expertise helped us learn so much about the areas we visit and even made sure we got great photos when the clouds cleared and Cotopaxi was in full sight! We are going back to Quito next year and will absolutely be working with Pedro again!

It was a long day, a lot of driving, but both Cotopaxi and Quilotoa are amazing. Guide Ayrton was very nice and provided lot of info during the day. We visited also an Art Gallery, with beautiful hand paintings, hard to resist to not buy some.
