Excursion d'une journée à Stonehenge & Bath depuis Londres

The tour was very nice. We enjoyed both locations very much, but wished we had more time at Bath. We did have time to see the Roman Baths and the Bath Cathedral, but not for walking so kind the town.

We were moved from the Stonehenge/Bath tour to the Windsor/Stonehenge/Bath tour. We were told it was cancelled, yet when we arrived at the coach station a Stonehenge/Bath tour was still going out. When we arrived at Windsor, we had to buy our own tickets even though we did not choose to move tours. Although the sites were fabulous and the tour guide did a fine job, three locations was too much in one day. The lines were long at all locations. We were rushed at every site and arrived back to London very late. I commend our tour guide and driver for doing the best they could on a very busy and long day.

While very fast paced this was still such a great tour - a sample tasting as our guide called it. You really only get about an hour at each stop. Our guide was Ana and she was incredible; so informative and helpful. My friend has a walker and she made sure we had all the accessibility assistance everywhere. She also had great “pro tips” to get the most of each stop in the limited time. Adnam was our driver and he deserves 10 stars. It was a smooth and safe ride, even when we hit some horrible traffic coming back to London. There’s some law about drivers not being allowed into the city past 8am so even though Adnam did his best , because of the traffic we arrived after this because of the traffic and had to be dropped off at Gloucester Road Station. It was way better for us but Ana went around to each person to help them route to where they were going. Part of the reason we were late was because some people didn’t make it back to the bus on time, so make sure you listen yo the return time and keep an eye on the clock!

The guide Omar was very knowledgeable and offered information about many things on the road and in the places we visited. It was good to go to just two sites--Stonehenge and Bath, as I think we would have been rushed otherwise. It was a great day and we learned a lot.

The buses are low quality in terms of seating. The guide was condescending and rude. Pros : Timely. Decent wifi on the bus.

Great one day trip, we got upgraded from Stonehenge and Baths with Windsor added on. Jes and Chris were great , Jes very entertaining, courteous , friendly and helpful whilst attending to the logistics of the trip.

The tour is fantastic in terms of what you get to do. Stonehenge is a really special place. You aren’t up next to the stones, but I think the experience is still excellent. Bath is GORGEOUS, and the Roman Baths are so cool. The entrance comes with an audio guide that is really good. The Roman baths far exceeded my expectations, it was informative, interesting, and brought you back in time. Just know; you don’t have much time either place. Stonehenge was really limited. We got off our bus, took the Stonehenge shuttle bus right out, walked around, and took the site bus back. By the time we got back there was barely time to visit the toilets before you had to get on the coach. Not enough time for us to look through the gift shop or get food (long lines in the cafe). This partly seemed to be because our tour bus was running behind. We got into Bath around 1:30, directly given tickets to visit the Roman Baths or option to take your ticket and eat first. I’m glad we did the Baths first. Everyone loved them, even the kids 4 & 8. After we were done we had 25 min to eat, no time to shop or look around. I wish the bus had more of a tour onboard, and that it included more information

Jes was our tour guide and Chris drove the bus. Jes entertained us with many well-researched stories and facts about English history, We were also quite surprised when he revealed the origin of many common sayings such as graveyard shift, saved by the bell, break a leg, on the wagon and many others. So interesting! The whole day was delightful and we would highly recommend Jes and Chris. 5 stars!

This Windsor, Stonehenge and Bath tour was wonderful as were the driver, Ahmet and the guide, Omar. We had a previous tour of Windsor so had breakfast at The Ivy which is a beautifully decorated restaurant. Stonehenge with it’s history made me so glad to actually be there. Bath was wonderful too. Thé Romans knew how to live it up. This city is worth a couple of days touring. There were people here dressed in period costume as it is were Jane Austin lived and where Bridgerton was filmed. Highly recommend this tour.
