Sintra est également connue pour ses nombreux jardins et parcs naturels, notamment le parc naturel de Sintra-Cascais et les montagnes de Sintra. Driver & guide: Paulo Sequeira (Lisbon Meeting) On-time start & guide outlined the agenda; New and sparkling clean Mercedes van with comfortable seating; Safe driver and aware of numerous shortcuts to avoid slower traffic; Always picked a quiet meeting point when allowing us free-time; Had ample time to see Historic Sintra & Sintra National Palace; > we were first in-line for Palace tickets; Pena Palace was an easy destination despite the crowds; > Paulo found parking within yards of the Pena Palace main-gate; > provided a map of the Pena Park and explicit walking instructions to the best Palace viewpoints; > his clear instructions ensured we visited the Palace grounds in minimum time; > short line to purchase our entry tickets was only speed-bump we encountered all day; Cabo da Roca was a treat due to low winds & bright sun! > got our photos without crowds because Paulo had a plan; Arrived in Cascais after the lunch-time crush; > good to be back in our favorite small Portuguese town; > Paulo recommended several restaurants with options we desired; > had ample time to see Historic Cascais & Citadel (Fortress Nossa Senhora da Luz); Delivered us back to our hotel after a fast-paced tour of the best treasures that Portugal has to offer nearby Lisbon! Highly recommend guide Paulo to unlock your best adventures in Portugal. Peter T
There is so much to see and do in this region. Our driver was knowledgeable , an excellent driver AND his Mercedes van was impeccable. He spoke MULTIPLE languages.
Paul was incredibly kind and helped make our trip memorable. He was attentive to our needs, courteous, and ensured that our trio felt comfortable and well taken care of throughout the journey. His professionalism and friendly demeanor left a lasting impression, and we would gladly ride with him again. Thank you, Paul, for going, above and beyond to make our epericen special!
I have a foot injury at the moment making walking a little more difficult, but that was made so easy because Paulo from Lisbon Meeting gave outstanding consideration to the comfort and safety of myself and the whole group. There are no words to describe how impressive Sintra is and Cascais was a delightful place to stop for lunch. Paulo is extremely knowledgeable with a great sense of humour, and he made the day the highlight of our holiday. Many thanks from Gloria and Dave.
Paulo our driver/guide was excellent. Very knowledgeable, humorous, flexible and an excellent driver. The Sintra Tour was incredible - history, architecture, and natural beauty and the trip to the ocean and Cacais was special as well. Great value for all that we saw and did.
Booked a day trip to Sintra and Cascais through booking.com. Received the confirmation email but had no other communication from the company, even though my email address and mobile number was provided. On the day of the trip I went to the meeting point provided in my email. Arrived early so I could get my bearings. I was presented with a locked up pastel de nata shop with the company name above the door. I sent an email to confirm the pick up point as it didn’t look quite right. I also tried to call 3 times and there was no answer. Only a recorded message. Even after all this I kept the faith and waited until 10 mins after the pick up time stated and still no one arrived. Tried one more time to call and still no answer. Had to make our own way to Sintra after spending €195 for this trip. Then to add insult to injury, they send an email the next day thanking me for joining them and asking to leave a review. Absolutely awful. Currently fighting to get my money back. So if you see this advertised by Booking.com, I’d strongly recommend booking elsewhere and with a different company.
We booked this tour. We were told the meeting point, which is the address of the tour company. NO ONE showed. No one called us. No one would answer. The office didn’t open until 9. Absolutely no response from the company. It was booked through Booking.com. Disgusted with the customer service of both companies. Folks use “Get Your Guide” for all future tours. They are a professional company.
The company did not show up for our tour. I tried calling multiple times and the calls wouldn't go through. I messaged them on line asking for a refund. I received no response. Do not use this company.
Tour operator never showed up. Tried to contact & no answer! We finally got some results from customer service but too late to go as we were leaving the next day.
