Le circuit Guba-Shahdag est un voyage à travers la partie européenne de l'Azerbaïdjan. Le long de la mer Caspienne, le long de la plaine de Samur-Divichinsky, il y a une route qui emmène les touristes en semi-express vers les montagnes du Caucase du Nord. Un voyage dans l'une des stations de ski les plus populaires d'Azerbaïdjan, située sur le mont Shahdag, est un voyage à travers la vaste steppe et les montagnes enneigées éblouissantes.

Nous venons vous chercher dans les hôtels du centre de Bakou, à l'exception des hôtels situés dans la vieille ville et à proximité. Que les invités viennent aux doubles portes - portes principales de la vieille ville (Qosha Qala qapisi)
En empruntant l'autoroute M1 reliant la capitale de l'Azerbaïdjan aux plus grandes villes de Russie, vous verrez la montagne Beshbarmak, située près de la côte de la mer Caspienne. Beshbarmak est un lieu de pèlerinage pour la population locale et, grâce à sa hauteur et sa forme, constitue un excellent point de référence pour les marins depuis l'Antiquité. Le lieu saint « Pir Hydyr Zundzha » est situé au pied de la montagne Beshbarmag, où les voyageurs s'arrêtent pour accomplir des prières et un culte. Votre guide professionnel vous racontera les histoires mythiques associées à ce lieu.
L’un des plus beaux tronçons de route d’Azerbaïdjan s’étend sur environ 40 kilomètres depuis l’autoroute Guba-Bakou vers l’ouest en direction du village de montagne d’Altiaghaj. À peu près à mi-chemin entre les deux, l'on traverse une vallée spectaculaire flanquée de montagnes de schiste dont les étonnants tourbillons rouges, oranges, roses et craie ont conduit l'écrivain britannique Mark Elliott (auteur du très populaire guide « Azerbaïdjan ») à les surnommer. les Candy Cane Mountains, un nom qui est depuis resté gravé dans la mémoire des voyageurs. On dit que ces couleurs étonnantes sont dues aux eaux souterraines qui ont modifié l’état d’oxydation des composés de fer contenus dans la roche.
La prochaine destination sera la ville de Guba, située dans l'un des plus beaux paysages naturels d'Azerbaïdjan. Sur le chemin de Guba, nos invités visiteront l'unique colonie juive dans les montagnes, la "Jérusalem du Caucase" - la Ville Rouge. Le village compte 13 synagogues, dont deux sont opérationnelles. Il y a environ 4 à 5 000 Juifs vivant à Qirmizi Qesebe, symbole du pluralisme en Azerbaïdjan et symbole de paix et d'harmonie entre les différentes religions.
Qechresh est l'un des plus grands villages de la région de Guba. La zone est couverte de forêt de tous côtés. Qechresh est célèbre pour ses sources naturelles et ses plantes. Le long de la route se trouvent des zones de loisirs et des restaurants où vous pourrez déguster la cuisine locale.

Le dernier point de la visite sera Shahdagh Mountain Resort Complex qui est situé dans la ville de Qusar. Ils peuvent y profiter avec différentes attractions hivernales. Il y a des activités telles que des montagnes russes, un téléphérique, une tyrolienne et des voitures de VTT.

We had such a fun trip with our guide Yusif! We visited the Candy Cane Mountains, had a great lunch in Guba, and then headed up to Shahdag which everybody needs to visit when coming to Azerbaijan. Even though it started raining a lot in the mountains, Yusif kept the trip enjoyable and made sure we didn’t miss out. He also took amazing photos of us, which made the day even more special. Highly recommend!

Candy cane mountain stop timing was ok and the mountains were beautiful, great place for insta photos. Stop at Guba shouldve been shorter, the main restaurant was bad and their food was not good at all. Toilets were not good at Guba and at the stop before jn the market! Saving the extra time spent in Guba couldve made it possible for us to try all the rides at Shadag, have better food options, shisha and enjoy the beautiful green mountains! I also bought my tickets with access to the rides and i discovered there that i have to pay for the zipline separately! I couldnt make it to the roller coaster because of the long queue at the zipline so i ended up losing tickets for 2! Toilets at the stop after Shahdag were not good, ladies cannot use them! We were lucky with the tour guide, Dianara, a very sweet girl kept us all entertained. I recommend group option as the trip is too long!

The guide is very friendly and cheerful. We spent many hours on the old mini van, which can be quite uncomfortable if you have car sickness as it is going up and down of a mountain, and it is stuffy and squeezy for 10 passengers and 1 driver to be in a mini van (I was sitting facing the opposite direction throughout the ride). Unfortunately it rained when we reached Shahdag mountain resort and had to do all the activities in the rain, and we were all wet and cold. We booked for an all inclusive tour so lunch was included. It was a big and quiet restaurant which served us very delicious food.
