We were suppose to have an english tour guide but ended up being a driver who spoke french however between google translate and a little french I know and the little english he knew we had a delightful time. Our driver and guide Didier was attentive and bent over backwards to see that we had a good experience, It was a pleasure to get to know him and I would highly recommend him for anybody
Hello John, Thanks for your very nice review. We are very sorry about the fact that the driver didn't speak English, but we are very happy to read that you found a solution to understand each other. We'll pass him the message, for sure he will be delighted, Best regards,
I booked for a private tour which was suppose to be 385 , why should I be charged for my son the same amount, the fact that my son was with me that makes it semi private and I was expecting the visit fees or something I couldn’t do on my own to be provided other than the transportation and also when I was denied access to the cheese factory since they don’t recognize the Americans vaccine pass I had plenty of time so I asked the company to let me use the rest of my time having the driver drop me at Zermatt which was enough time they told they will discuss it and call me back and after more than 2 hours I called them again and they told me that I don’t have enough time for that trip and I just went to the train station and lost the xtra time for nothing
Hello, We are very sorry that your tour didn't met your expectations. However we are not responsable if the cheese factory didn't allowed your covid pass. We are also sorry that the driver didn't bring you to Zermatt as it's at 2hours of driving and he had an intinerary to follow. We hope that you still bring some good memories of the beauty of Switzerland. Best regards,
Great day trip from Geneva to gruyere to visit chocolate factory, cheese factory and old town. Our driver Evan was amazing (very safe, professional, friendly, went out of his way to make our trip one to remember). Great experience overall.
The towns were pretty but it was a far way to travel for very limited cheese & chocolate experience. The choc factory is nicely done, animated etc. Cheese factory not so much. Weather was cold & rainy so that didn't help! I would say go, if you have the time. Possibly the tours would have been better,so book in advance as they were sold out so I had to travel the train's on my own, which was long & expensive.
