Excursion d'une journée à Pompéi et Herculanum au départ de Naples avec déjeuner
Description
Cette visite d'une journée des sites du patrimoine mondial de Pompéi et Herculanum commence par un ramassage à Naples et un transfert en bus vers les ruines de Pompéi. Il y aura un assistant touristique dans le bus pendant cette partie de l'excursion. En arrivant à Pompéi, vous explorerez les ruines pendant environ 2 heures. Découvrez les traditions et la vie quotidienne des anciens habitants de Pompéi. Vous verrez le grand théâtre, la nécropole, les thermes et certaines des maisons étonnantes qui appartenaient aux résidents les plus riches. Profitez d'un déjeuner léger inclus dans un restaurant local. Après le déjeuner, rendez-vous à Herculanum où vous aurez la chance d’explorer les ruines par vous-même. Il est possible d’observer la vie quotidienne de la population ici encore plus détaillée qu’à Pompéi, car la boue et les débris volcaniques qui recouvraient la ville ont préservé les structures et les artefacts d’Herculanum.

Après la dernière prise en charge, nous conduirons du centre-ville de Naples au parc archéologique de Pompéi.
Au moment de la dramatique éruption, Pompéi comptait environ 11.000 habitants, tandis qu'Herculanum avait une population d'environ 5.000 personnes. Un certain nombre d'empereurs et d'aristocrates avaient leurs villas de vacances dans ces villes. Un jour, en 79 après JC, plusieurs mètres de cendres ensevelis toute la zone en quelques heures. Des siècles plus tard, en 1748, sous le gouvernement des Bourbons, les travaux d'excavation ont commencé. La découverte a été accueillie avec enthousiasme car elle a ajouté une grande richesse au royaume et inspiré le mouvement néoclassique en Europe. De nos jours, les ruines de Pompéi comptent parmi les sites archéologiques les plus visités au monde, tandis qu'Herculanum se renouvelle pour sa Villa dei Papiri contenant une bibliothèque de plus de 1800 papyrus. Visite des fouilles (environ 2 heures) et si le temps le permet également d'une fabrique de coraux et de camées pour admirer le processus de production réalisé par des artisans experts
Pause déjeuner
Après le déjeuner dans un restaurant local. Dans l'après-midi, vous vous dirigerez vers les ruines d'Herculanum.
Après la visite d'Herculanum, retour à Naples au même endroit que le matin.

We took the tour with Cristian, and everything went perfectly, Pompeii and then Herculaneum. The service and attention were very good; they took us and were waiting for us at each of the sites, the tour included guided visits and food. The guides help a lot to understand part of the incredible history of both sites. And at the end, especially with the heat and when going with children, the bus service is greatly appreciated. Highly recommended.

The pickup both to and from the location by Ivana and Max was perfect. Roberto was our guide in Pompeii, and I have nothing good to say about him. He took us on a brief tour of an unimportant area, and we only visited the House of the Faun and the baths. No other houses, no frescoes, no more mosaics. We told him several times, but he did not pay attention to us. Absolutely disappointing and frustrating. I am truly disappointed and angry. Additionally, the explanation was in Very disappointing.
Only 2 hours of visiting: 1 hour in reality, since the guide Roberto had to give explanations in 2 languages: English and Spanish, which reduced the effective visiting time by half. To make matters worse, he did not take us to visit any of the iconic sites of Pompeii: no mosaics, no murals. Very, very disappointing. Very, very disappointing. 2 hours for lunch (?) and 1.5 hours of visiting Herculaneum. Ivana and Maximo, OK.

A well-structured tour, first to Pompeii where we joined a larger group with an English speaking guide. Fascinating and informative descriptions of life in 79 AD. Then a three course lunch. We proceeded to Herculaneum where we used audio guides to explore this wonderful site. An excellent tour!

Super recommended experience. We took the full tour of Pompeii and Herculaneum, and it was very good. Both the guide of Pompeii and Ivanna and Francesco, who were in charge of the tour and took us to the sites, were wonderful.

An excellent day tour of Pompeii and Herculaneum. Guide Cristian and driver Mundabo took great care of us. In the morning we joined a larger group tour with an official guide who was very informative. After a 3 course lunch we visited Herculaneum where we did a self-directed tour with audio guide. Fabulous day - we saw and learnt so much!

Great tour. Aldo was fantastic answered all our questions. Car trip was nice and smooth. Guide at Pompeii was great and spent a good amount of time at each spot. Lunch was included and was nice.
