Il se trouve à seulement 1h45 de route de Melbourne directement à Phillip Island. À votre arrivée, vous serez accueilli par le garde-forestier du parc naturel de Phillip Island pour une promenade guidée dans la réserve de koalas de Phillip Island. Vous recevrez une présentation sur les koalas, l'histoire et la pertinence de la réserve et de la dernière zone boisée naturelle de l'île. Depuis le Koala Wildlife Park, il n'y a qu'une courte distance en voiture jusqu'à Phillip Island, un territoire de 10 000 hectares abritant plus d'une centaine de variétés d'espèces animales. Phillip Island compte environ 15 000 habitants, dont la population augmente pendant les saisons touristiques chargées. Il existe trois colonies principales : Cape Woolamai, New Haven et Cowes.

Généralement, nous prenons le temps de flâner dans la commune côtière de Cowes. Abrité le long de la calme baie de Westernport, ce canton doit son nom à Cowes sur l'île de White. De magnifiques paysages de bord de mer, des magasins uniques à découvrir et de nombreux bons restaurants pour acheter de la nourriture.
Ensuite, nous arrivons aux Nobbies Rocks où nous vous emmenons faire une promenade guidée facultative sur les promenades pour voir la côte rocheuse et repérer les pingouins nichant dans leurs terriers. Ensuite, nous voyageons le long des routes secondaires de Phillip Island à travers Phillip Island Penguin Habitat. Profitez d'une vue incroyable sur les falaises côtières en vous dirigeant vers la parade des pingouins de Phillip Island.
L'attraction principale de la visite de Phillip Island a toujours été les Petits Pingouins effectuant leur rituel quotidien de parade des pingouins. Ces petits amis sont les plus petits du genre au monde. Profitez du coucher du soleil au centre d'information touristique et choisissez le bon siège pour avoir une vue imprenable sur les principaux spectacles de la journée : la parade des pingouins !

This tour was a lot of fun. Our guide Kiwi was entertaining ang knowledgable. He also managed to squeeze in an extra stop for us. The koala conservation site and the nobbies were highlights. The penguins were super cute as expected
Joel was fantastic! Great tour and tour guide. We saw koalas at the reserve and we loved the penguin parade! The penguin parade was worth the ticket alone. There were 3 opportunities to buy food and use the restrooms. Joel is very knowledgeable and very friendly.
The tour is very good; our guide Fiona explained all the stops we made as well as the history of Melbourne. She is very good and enjoys what she does, which makes her do a great job; excellent outing.

Fiona is a great guide, she explained really well about the trip and also gave us a lot of useful tips to make our trip an amazing experience… The whole tour, seeing the koalas, the short stop for photos at the noobies, and especially the main attraction seeing the penguins parade was absolutely amazing!

Really cool experience! Lauren was the absolute best!! She had the best personality, made sure we had plenty of rest stops, gave us exact detail and instruction as to the time we had for each location and best spotting for the penguins! Lauren wasd 10/10 all around! The experience itself, I recommend doing a tour that just brings you to Philip island for the penguins. We stopped at lunch first, went to koalas and then hit the penguins (left 12am ish) and we saw the penguins from 6-8ish. It was quite a long day. Understandably it is a 2 hour drive but i feel leaving almost 2-3 hours later would make the day feel less long. OVerall though, no regrets it was a wonderful experience, comfy bus with wifi and great tour guide!

Comfortable, punctual, and very interesting to see the koalas in their protected habitat, and the penguin parade is unique. Everything is well organized.
