A commencé au 6ème siècle avant JC. par les Arabes nabatéens, la ville possède de belles façades taillées directement dans les murs des flancs des montagnes. En arrivant au centre d'accueil des visiteurs, il faut marcher 700 mètres jusqu'à l'entrée du Siq qui est une impressionnante gorge de 1200 mètres de long d'un kaléidoscope de couleurs les tours à plus de 80 mètres au-dessus de vous. Lorsque vous sortez du gouffre, vous êtes instantanément subjugué par la beauté de Petra, choisie comme l'une des merveilles du nouveau monde, l'endroit parle de lui-même. Après votre séjour à Petra, vous revenez à travers le Siq et dirigez-vous vers la voiture qui vous attendra au parking d'entrée. Enfin, vous serez ramené à votre hôtel à Aqaba.

Tariq was very organised and professional. He got in touch through WhatsApp as soon as I arrived in Aqaba and shared the details of the driver as well as photos of the driver and the car. Our driver Sadam was waiting in our hotel lobby at the scheduled time. We learnt a lot about Jordan and had some interesting conversations on a wide range of topics. Sadam was very attentive to our needs especially our 6 y.o., and even found us a restaurant in Petra that served fantastic vegetarian food. He also gave us clear suggestions regarding the Petra walking trail that really helped us make the most of our time there. Tariq also helped me plan my day in Amman and his team in Amman were equally great and made our trip really memorable. Can't recommend Tariq highly enough.
Tariq is the best. No fuss. No pressure. He picked me up in a very clean car and took me to Petra giving some interesting insights about Jordan along the way.
