Itinéraire
Nous commençons notre voyage en Mongolie à partir du bureau d'Enza Tours LLC. Avant de commencer, notre guide et notre chauffeur local vous les présenteront. Nous nous dirigerons vers le parc national de Khustai, qui est un endroit pour les animaux sauvages. La chose la plus intéressante est d'observer le cheval sauvage «Takhi», qui a été découvert par le docteur Prezwalski en 1933. Takhi était presque éteint mais les gens ont réhabilité cette créature dans la faune. Nous découvrirons dans cette région des animaux tels que des loups, des marmottes, des moutons sauvages et des cerfs. Notre objectif sera de dénicher une famille de chevaux sauvages dont ses bébés. Après cela, nous ferons quelques randonnées à travers la nature intacte, sorte de flore et nous vous suggérons d'apporter votre appareil photo pour avoir de belles photos de paysages. À la fin, nous rentrerons à Oulan-Bator. Dans la ville, vous pourrez sortir avec votre guide pour visiter la ville et dîner ensemble en Mongolie.

One day at Khustai is probably not enough as half the time is spend driving from/to UB; go for 2 days if you have the time. But as a taster, this is a good tour. The park is beautiful and I had a good view of wild horses and an eagle. There is also an hour-long horse ride so you can channel your inner nomad. My guide Ichko (Coco) and driver Ganaa were both very good.

This 1 day tour from Ulaan Baatar is a nice introduction to this vast national park. The guide was great at finding the horses - which during our tour where high up in the hills and could only be seen with binoculars (provided by the tour guide). We did a short walk, but primarily drove to find the horses. We also saw ground squirrels, marmots, and a few hawks. We walked on sand dunes. The park is huge and for nature lovers, it would make an interesting 3-4 day trip. There are ghers at the park entrance and one can stay there overnight. The lunch was at the park entrance and very tasty. A horseback ride was supposed to be included in the tour, but since we booked the tour only the night before, we did not have time to fit it into the schedule. Actually spending more time in the park was more interesting.
