He even prepared a birthday surprise for us that made the trip even more special. He is not only an incredible guide, but also a wonderful person, one of those who make a trip much more special. We had a great experience in Sri Lanka thanks to our guide Gayan and Deshan, who were incredibly accommodating and always willing to adjust the plans to fit exactly what we wanted. While they were not the most detailed in terms of historical or cultural knowledge, they more than made up for it with their friendliness and flexibility. Driving was safe and smooth—something that made a big difference during longer travel days. Both were patient, easy-going, and made sure we felt comfortable at all times. We had a superb fun and engaging 10 days in Sri Lanka together with our ever enthusiastic guide Gayan and driver Daeshan! We went to many popular hiking spots and safaris and got to taste nice local food. Our guide, Gayan is resourceful and is an experience tour guide with 15 years of experience under his belt. Gayan and his team were incredibly helpful in taking us around. They were all very knowledgeable, punctual and caring throughout our stay in Nuwara Eliya and the rest of Sri Lanka. We began with an engaging visit to the Blue Field Tea Factory, where we explored the tea plantation and learned about the tea-making process in detail. The tea tasting was a delightful highlight. Next, we took a hike to the stunning Ramboda Falls. Along our trip he also pointed out mesmerizing views throughout the scenic landscape.
