Une excursion d'une journée à Moremi vous donne la chance de découvrir les divers habitats de la célèbre réserve de chasse de Moremi et offre d'incroyables opportunités d'observation de gibier. Idéal pour les voyageurs disposant de peu de temps, vous passerez la journée à explorer la partie ouest de la réserve, avec des expériences d'observation de gibier dictant votre itinéraire. Couvrant environ un tiers de la partie orientale du delta de l'Okavango, la réserve de chasse de Moremi, ses hautes forêts et ses vastes plaines inondables bordées de palmiers majestueux en font l'une des réserves fauniques les plus pittoresques d'Afrique.

Votre guide viendra vous chercher très tôt (05h30) à votre hébergement basé à Maun dans un véhicule de safari. Vous vous dirigerez ensuite vers le nord jusqu'à la réserve animalière de Moremi. Après 50 km de votre excursion d'une journée, vous passerez la barrière contre les bisons et l'observation du gibier commencera.
Dégourdissez-vous les jambes et savourez un thé/café le matin et un petit-déjeuner léger à South Gate, l'entrée la plus proche de Maun à Moremi, à 99 km de Maun. En entrant dans la réserve peu après le petit-déjeuner, soyez à l'affût d'une diversité d'écosystèmes qui s'accompagnent d'un éventail incroyable d'observations de la faune, d'oiseaux et de beautés naturelles. Votre guide professionnel, utilisant ses connaissances et son expérience de la région, veillera à ce que vous profitiez du meilleur de ce que la réserve a à offrir. Ici, les observations d'éléphants, d'hippopotames, de crocodiles, de buffles, d'impalas, de girafes, de tsessebés, de zèbres, de gnous bleus, d'antilopes de sable, de grand koudou, de lechwe rouge et de cobes d'eau sont courantes. D'autres espèces sauvages tout aussi incroyables que l'on peut observer sont le lion, le léopard, le guépard, l'hyène tachetée et le chien sauvage d'Afrique. La réserve abrite également une diversité surprenante d'oiseaux, des oiseaux aquatiques aux habitants des forêts, alors attendez-vous également à une excellente observation des oiseaux.
Après avoir passé la matinée à explorer la nature sauvage environnante, votre guide choisira un endroit pittoresque où vous pourrez vous détendre et profiter d'un pique-nique. Cela sera suivi d'un safari dans l'après-midi avant de retourner à Maun, où vous arriverez en début de soirée.

We had a wonderful excursion with breakfast and lunch in the savannah to discover its inhabitants. We admired in their habitat many animals such as giraffes, zebras, ostriches, impalas, elephants and a magnificent leopard specimen. Top experience with a super guide, Pelo, who led us with professionalism and great friendliness in this unique experience: really top. Absolutely recommended
At 6.30 we were picked up at our campsite. There were only four of us, luxury. Our driver drove on so after 1.5 hours we drove through the South Gate into the Moremi park. The care of breakfast and lunch was exquisite and very tasty. Our guide Polu knew a lot to tell and we were lucky enough to see many animals. He tried to get closer and closer so that we could take beautiful pictures. The drivers had contact with each other so we even saw a cheetah and a group of lions with 6 cubs. Magic!
Long but eventful day with good viewing of animals at Kaziikini game park near Moremi (which was flooded due to heavy rain). Our guide and driver Pelo was brilliant, very knowledgeable and so friendly and very good at finding the whole range of animals and birdlife. We would thoroughly recommend this trip but be aware it is 6am start at Maun and back at dusk, but worth every minute.

We had an exclusive tour for two to Kaziikini. We were picked up and brought back on time and had a great guide as well as a delicious lunch (something vegetarian was specially prepared for us). We were able to see many animals and the area was hardly visited. Great recommendation!

Pelo our guide reached out two days before the trip and visited my hotel the evening before the trip for a briefing and to inform of the slight change of itinerary. The day of the trip he was fantastic especially considering the challenging conditions, heavy rain and wind. As the weather got better the trip reache'd all it's goals and I cannot recommend it highly enough. It was entartaing and educational. I will remember it for a long time and I highly recommend this tour and this company.

Due to flooding the trip was changed to Kaziikini Concession but its been a very nice day. Please remember warm clothing as it quite cold in a open car 06:00 am in June. A very nice drive with breakfast and lunch arranged by Rennsexcursions which arranged everything, less animal then expected but a warm and nice day, absolutely something to recommend.

Extraordinary day from Semowi lodge. Pelo our excellent guide was very caring for us and knew how to find and approach animals in safety and respect. On the program, bcp of elephants, giraffes, birds but also zebras, wildebeest, lions, ostriches, buffaloes... and sometimes several at the same time! Renns Excursions were excellent. They kindly came to our camp two days prior to take EFTPOS payment so that we didn’t have to mess around with withdrawing cash from an ATM. The actual day itself was magical. Our guides Pelo and Leti picked us up from the Okavango Delta and took us to Moremi. We were informed that we would have limited time in the reserve due to our departure from the Delta but they kindly extended our time and drove around all day in the heat to facilitate us seeing as many animals as we could. We got incredibly lucky and saw lions, giraffes, elephants, zebras and even a leopard as we were leaving. Packed lunch and heaps of cold beverages were lovely and the guides Pelo and Leti were very attentive to all of our needs and requests. Would definitely go again and recommend to everyone.

Great day in Moremi. Pelo was a wonderful guide very knowledgeable and friendly! We saw lots of animals, lions, and birds! He put in a lot of effort to help me see all the animals! Lunch was tasty and plenty of cold water was supplied. I highly recommend this experience if you are in Maun. It is a big day in the car, but well worth it.
