We woke up early and drove an hour to port Alcudia to find out that our names are not on their list and they have no space on the bus. They contacted the office but our names were not on the reservation list. So we ate breakfast in the nearby town and drove an hour back to our hotel. I contacted Viatour and asked for the refund and they are processing it. But the lesson I learned is never book with an aggregator, always go directly to the tour operator and do not use Viatour
Long intense but interesting day. An outstanding guide in love with her island has charmed us with her knowledge. On top.
Super long day. Very heavy. It's not worth it. Many hours of travel for what you see. I wouldn't repeat
Menorca is spectacular and being lucky enough to match George as a guide made the fantastic excursion
We had a great day and the guides were truly brilliant 💃💃💃 Thank you and we will definitely be returning
This is a FULL day tour. We were picked up from the hotel at 6am by a driver who wasn't the nicest. Then we proceeded to pick up 3 other groups from their hotels to arrive at the ferry at 8am. There, our tickets were processed and the ferry left for Menorca at 9am. The ferry was nice and has food onboard for reasonable prices. Then we got to Menorca and boarded a coach bus which took us around the island all day. During the rides between destination our tour guides, who were lovely, gave us information about the island over a speaker system in 3 languages (English, Spanish, and German). We we arrived at each location, our time was completely free to do as we pleased. We stopped in numerous different towns and feel like we really got to see/experience Menorca. The ferry back left at 8pm and we got back to the hotel around 11pm.
Not enough time spent describing in English what we were seeing. The limo service from/to Palma was excellent.
It may have been the bad weather but I didn't find beautiful waters much better than Malta and Palunuro on previous holidays. The buses are expensive and take a siesta from 1pm to around 4.30pm in the evening, rarely do you have to rush. On August 26, 2023, a storm, everyone was wet in the middle of the city, no buses, no taxis for hours, many people with frozen children in danger with shopkeepers closing their doors, if you don't have a car you're screwed. For many coves you have to return to the terminus and then take the bus back to the area which means you do very little, in the evening outside the city everyone is closed and it's a death toll. We talk a lot about Italians but in our residence we found half of the things broken, poor cleaning and we found cockroaches. Result last year Malta 10 this year Menorca a poor 5
We went with my 5-year-old daughter and my husband. We had a lovely time. We were picked up by the hotel in Mallorca and then taken to the Port, took the Ferry and arrived in Menorca. There a bus took us around the island telling us about the history of the place and showing us beautiful tourist spots. It was a long but beautiful day. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
The tour was well organized and the guides were great, especially Margarite. Beautiful island and ample free time. Bring good walking shoes and get lots of sleep the night before because it is a “full-day tour.
