Le trajet dure environ 4 heures avec 20 minutes de pause pour le petit-déjeuner et les toilettes. La distance est d'environ 280 km au sud-ouest d'Hurghada.

A wonderful day with the whole family experienced. We were 8 people, 5 adults and 3 children aged 8 to 11 years. We asked Samegypt for a Dutch speaking guide and got it! The contact with Samegypt via whatsapp was very good. They are always available and answer all your questions without any problem (in English). We met on Tuesday April 4 at 5.15 am at our hotel and were picked up neatly on time with a private van from our hotel. After a drive of about 3 hours and a half we arrived in Luxor. The guide adapted his explanation to the children. No exaggerated details but just enough to keep the children interested. Karim, a very friendly man, an Egyptologist, in good Dutch, very fascinating and always willing to adapt the program at the request of the customer. We visited the temples of Karnak, the colossi of Mennon, went to a papyrus shop and visited the quarries. In the Valley of the Kings we had the chance to visit 3 tombs. Lunch was included at the edge of the Nile. After crossing by traditional boat we went to the other bank. Samegypt is definitely recommended to organize your trip to Luxor. Is there a downside? Yes, it is. We booked the children an extra visit to a ‘crocodile island’ somewhere on the Nile. A beautiful boat trip along the banks of the Nile towards a banana plantation. You saw the children playing in the water, the water buffalo quenching their thirst and the plantations being farmed by the farmers. So much for the positive! The animals on the island in question were hanging on chains (monkeys), the local crocodile was in a far too small pen with hardly any water, the small crocodile was used with an applied mouth as a tourist entertainment. The children and ourselves were shocked. So don't! But otherwise it was a beautiful day! Thank you Karim for your professional approach and for stealing the hearts of our children. I'll never forget when our 8-year-old Lola asked you to hold her hand as we walked through the Valley of the Kings. This says it all! Beautiful!

“Luxor a luxury” M & Johann (May 2022) Visiting "Luxor" is a luxury" M & Johann (May 2022) a very interesting beautiful trip from Soma Bay to Luxor (May 2022), the trip was organized accordingly and at the highest level, thanks to our guide Mr. Hamada Mokhadam and of course the driver (Mr Same), we thank you. The punctuality for the entire trip is remarkable. Mr. Hamada was absolutely excellent, professional, a very pleasant person; he was always ready and competent to answer our questions; he stays with us all the time, always ready to help; congratulations and thank you dear Mr. Hamada! We wholeheartedly recommend Mr. Hamada Mokhadam of Samegypt Tours. At 5:30 in the morning the journey started, everything was so well prepared that we felt neither tired nor the desire to get to Luxor "faster". Car was clean and air conditioning worked well. The driver? first-class driver in traffic mode in Egypt, A stopover was also welcome, lunch also included, a short but pleasant Nile crossing also organizationally well thought out. Luxor and its wonders are impressive; this “luxury” (visiting Luxor) is not to be missed when you are in Egypt. Absolutely something special! The security system is very well organized in Egypt, it can be said that a lot has been invested in this sector and this also for the “security” of tourism. Very uncomplicated contact via email as well as Whatsapp. We were picked up at our hotel on time. The journey to Luxor takes a little longer, but was very pleasant thanks to the driver as well as the car (air-conditioned, very good condition). It was important to us that we could make the trip at our pace and not have to make unnecessary stops at outlets. Samegypt tours has fully fulfilled our expectations in this regard.
