Explorez certains des trésors historiques de Jordanie lors de cette visite privée d'une journée complète à Jerash, Ajloun et Umm Qais au départ d'Amman. Dirigez-vous vers Jerash et plongez dans sa riche histoire en explorant ses rues à colonnades, ses temples perchés, son amphithéâtre, ses places publiques, ses places et ses temples. Jerash est l'un des sites classiques les mieux conservés ; une ville grecque et romaine riche et prospère. Elle fut fondée par Alexandre le Grand vers 331 avant JC, elle devint plus tard l'une des grandes villes de la Décapole de l'Est. C’est également une colonie de bronze où se trouvent le temple d’Artémis, le Forum, la place ovale ainsi que l’Arc d’Hadrien. Découvrez la ville et comment elle s'est développée avec une fédération grecque, puis a vécu sous la domination musulmane et chrétienne, qui a finalement chuté pendant les croisades.
Continuez vers Ajloun et visitez le château d'Ajloun; une forteresse du XIIe siècle construite par les forces de Saladin contre les croisés. Il a été construit pour dominer les 3 principaux passages menant au nord-ouest de la Jordanie. Cet édifice perché est un exemple frappant de l’architecture militaire arabo-islamique médiévale. Les structures, tours, chambres, galeries et escaliers qui font partie de la ville, ainsi que le magnifique paysage qui entoure les collines voisines, vous captiveront à coup sûr. Montez dans la tour et regardez autour de vous pour vous imprégner de l'atmosphère historique et plonger dans les vues pittoresques de la vallée du Jourdain jusqu'à la mer Morte.
Plus tard, dirigez-vous vers Umm Qais; l'une des plus belles villes gréco-romaines. Découvrez les ruines de la ville de Gadara, dans la Décapole, aujourd'hui connue sous le nom d'Umm Qais. Cet endroit est époustouflant en raison du contraste et de la juxtaposition des ruines romaines avec le village abandonné de l'époque ottomane. Admirez les vues à couper le souffle depuis un point de vue extraordinaire, avec des vues sur 3 pays ; Jordanie, Syrie, Israël et Territoires palestiniens. Selon la Bible, c'est le lieu du célèbre miracle du porc Gadarene ; quand Jésus chassa les démons de 2 hommes dans un troupeau de porcs. Enfin, retrouvez votre chauffeur et retournez à Amman, où votre visite se termine par un dépôt à n'importe quel endroit central de votre choix.

We had Omar as our lovely driver for the day and he made a long day easy! It was nice to have someone to ask about location guides and pricing. Omar would also pull over for beautiful vistas or tell us a bit about the area we were in. It made the whole day go so smoothly! We loved our time visiting the sites and would recommend.
This is the best most mind blowing experience you would've had. ODAY was less a driver and more a friend, philosopher and guide. He was super helpful. Got us the best food and coffee. Not only was he kind to us but so good and helpful with our baby girl as well. I couldn't be happier and more thankful. Most importantly he was flexible which is very much needed when you have children. Thank you Oday. Looking forward to coming here again!

We recently went on tour this tour, and all in all this was a really fantastic day. It was worth spending every penny on this tour- Our driver, Faisal really made a super effort and started the day by buying us Turkish coffee en route to the first destination. Along the way he would explain different parts of Jordanian culture which really enabled us to learn a lot, and as we passed places of interest he would point these out (e.g. the olive and pomegranate trees). Faisal was really friendly, on this special small tour, and made sure that we were able to get into the sites ok, and was always looking out for us (he would give us a heads up of what to look out for and advise where best to go and see when inside the sites). For lunch, Faisal went out of his way to buy some Schwarma wraps for us which were absolutely delicious, and he was extremely thoughtful in making sure we always had enough bottled water to drink. In terms of sites, the archaeological site for the Roman ruins (which is the final part of the tour) is really not to be missed- there was so much to see, and it was so incredible to see such a large Roman structures in Jordan- we would really recommend you definitely complete the you to visit this part as well! All in all a really fantastic tour and Faisal really made it special for us!
We had a truly exceptional one-day tour and every aspect exceeded our expectations. First and foremost, our driver was excellent. He was punctual, incredibly professional, and very friendly. He ensured a smooth, comfortable, and safe journey throughout. He was also knowledgeable and happy to share insights about Jordan along the way. The vehicle arranged for us was perfect. It was modern, impeccably clean, very spacious, and had strong air conditioning—which was a blessing after a day of exploring. It made the long drives to and from sites relaxing and enjoyable. Of course, the site of Jerash itself was breathtaking. It's an absolute wonder of the world, and no photos can do justice to walking through temples for the first time. The history and scale are simply mind-blowing. We maximized our day walking to the main highlights. In summary: a fantastic driver, a top-quality vehicle, and one of the most incredible sights in Jordan. This tour was perfectly organized and we felt well taken care of from pick-up to drop-off. Highly, highly recommended for a seamless and unforgettable Jordan experience!

Jerash and Ajloon were both really interesting and the scenery and views were amazing. Umm Qais, however, was not that great and much of it was closed in January - not worth the extra drive. My driver, Ashraf, was very pleasant, flexible and accommodating.
