Much appreciate such complimentary feedback on the spectacular location visited.
I’m a bit of a history enthusiast, so I thought I knew a bit what to expect, but of course the experience was so much better than what I had expected. The tour guides Tcahi and George were fantastic, friendly and made the entire day unforgettable. If you are going to visit Jerusalem and Betlehem, these are the guys you want to take you around.
So glad you came awayi with memorable and enlightening tour experience with both our highly professional guides. It seems you enjoyed a tour experience to cherish. They are indeed worthy of your rave review of their performance and tour management.
My tour guide was Zahi Shaked. Had an awesome experience to say the least! Zahi was funny, informative, and professional. Couldn’t have asked for a better tour experience. Thanks again for the tour. Lehayim!
Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful feedback! We’re delighted to hear you had such a great experience with Zahi — he’s indeed a fantastic guide who combines knowledge, humor, and professionalism. We truly appreciate your kind words and hope to welcome you again soon. Lehayim!
Bethlehem Tour – a terrible disaster disguised as a pilgrimage. This trip was nothing short of a disappointment. What should have been a spiritual and peaceful experience turned into an overpriced shopping marathon. We spent hours in souvenir shops with sellers aggressively pushing us to buy things we didn’t want. Lunch was at a place serving pre-made, overpriced food, with no alternative options provided. The driver failed to warn us about a dangerous pothole at the Bethlehem checkpoint — the bus went over it so harshly that it caused chest pain and left several of us shaken. When I felt physically ill and asked for a break, the guide completely ignored me. There was no care or concern for passenger wellbeing. The whole tour felt commercialised and money-driven, not like a genuine pilgrimage at all.
Dear guest, We are truly sorry to read about your disappointing experience on the Bethlehem Tour. This is certainly not the level of service or care we aim to provide. Our tours are designed to combine meaningful visits to religious and historical sites with short, optional stops to support the local community and artisans. We regret if these visits felt excessive or pressured — this was never our intention. Regarding the incident at the checkpoint, we take safety matters very seriously. Your feedback has already been forwarded to our operations and transportation departments for review with both the driver and the guide involved. Please accept our sincere apologies for the discomfort you experienced. We would appreciate the opportunity to contact you directly and discuss this further to ensure appropriate follow-up and compensation if needed. Kind regards, Bein Harim Tourism Services
Itamar was so much fun! He was super knowledgeable, very personable, funny, popular with the locals on tour ( people were smiling and greeting him everywhere we went- it was wonderful to see the Israelis happy to be out in the city working again & hosting tourists). Jerusalem was not very crowded due to resolving war- but that was to out benefit to have more of the city to ourselves. We were able to see so many things on the bus/walk tour that would have taken us days on our own. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to get the most comprehensive introduction to Jerusalem:) If Itamar is available for any tour I would go with him. The only disappointment was they cancelled the Bethlehem part of the tour ( due to the war). I am Catholic & really wanted to see the birth place of Jesus. I hired a private guide which is basically the only way to travel safely at this time) ❤️🇺🇸🇮🇱🍀🙏
We thank you very much for sharing your enlightening experience with our professional guide Itamar .It is clear you enjoyed a great tour.Yes regretably there were quiet times but thaks for doing this and getting the most out of such an experience
I’m so glad to have met Dan. He was sooo knowledgeable about the areas on the tour. He was funny and amusing. I really liked his interaction with us. Dan is an excellent tour guide
This a great and sincere expression of gratitude for your praise-worthy guide, Dan. His efforts are sensed and felt by all who tour with him.
Very nice tour, both tour guides were excellent. I was hoping to actually go to the Garden of Gethsemane rather than drive by, but all in all I loved it and would highly recommend
Thank you very much for sharing this info as well as your satisfaction with Bein Harim Tours services.
We stayed in Israel for 5 days and did three tours. This was hands down the best one. Our guide, Yoav, was amazing. As we walked through the city, he seemed to know everyone. It was like you were getting a tour from the mayor of Jerusalem. He was also super knowledgeable and shared so many interesting facts about each of the sites we visited. Getting to see Bethlehem and Jerusalem was a bucket list dream of mine. I am so happy that this was the tour I chose to take to make it happen.

We had a really enjoyable and informative day with our tour guide, Itamar. The tour was well-paced with plenty of stops for r&r. We would highly recommend this tour.
We're delighted to hear you had an enjoyable and informative day with our guide Itamar. Your recommendation means a lot to us, and we look forward to welcoming you on another tour in the future.
Why an average review? The guide was friendly and personable. He needed to focus more on the tour. Rather, we spent too much time in shops. The church of the Holy Scepleture was breeze, no time to see anything. It is hot in August so touring is tough on foot. focus more on the tour
Thank you for sharing your review. We appreciate your positive comments about the guide's personality. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the tour's focus and the time spent.
