Family of 4 (two kids ages 15 and 11) took this all-day tour with Julien. We were very thankful for the air conditioned van, especially with record breaking temperatures this week in France. We were the only family on this tour and Julien was extremely informative and helpful as our guide. We had enough time at each castle and even had time to grab a drink or snack at each location. Highly recommend this tour. Our kids weren’t as engaged in the history so we also enjoyed forced learning on holiday!
The Loire Valley region is so beautiful and offers many must see destinations. This trip included visits to 3 remarkable castles, lunch on our own in an excellent local restaurant, and a wine tasting which was very fun. Our guide, Julian, was the perfect host. He was the exact right amount of information and guidance and then time to explore on our own. He was an excellent driver and a great communicator. Julian is a lifelong Parisian and he is very knowledgeable. The castles are all very unique and the gardens and surrounding grounds were beautiful to explore. This was a great value and well worth the time. We especially enjoyed the countryside after a week in the city.
Thanks so much for your kind words, really glad you enjoyed the Loire Valley trip, the castles, wine tasting, and the countryside. Great to hear Julian took good care of you. Hope to see you again soon! - Alice
Great trip, beautiful places, wonderful guide. 3 sisters, age 66-70 and they took great care of us. We couldn't have asked for a better trip.
Great experience! Ryan was a fabulous guide and made the trip really enjoyable. He also told us lots about the history in the region!
Thank you for your lovely review! We're delighted to hear you had a great experience and enjoyed Ryan’s guidance and insights into the region’s history. We hope to welcome you on another tour soon! Kind regards, - Alice
Beautiful chateaus and a wonderful way to get outside of Paris for the day and see a little of what’s beyond. Amboise is a lovely place and could easily spend a day there.
Thank you for your lovely review! We're glad you enjoyed the beautiful châteaux and your day exploring the Loire Valley. We agree that Amboise is a charming town and a wonderful place to visit. We hope to welcome you on another tour soon! Kind regards, - Alice
Such a great day with a very small group. We all loved our guide Julian and enjoyed our time together. Perfect way to get to see the chateau’s without being on a huge tour bus. Lunch was great and the recommendations were perfect.
Highly recommend this small group tour to the Loire Valley castles. Perfect meeting location in Paris at a cafe that is open early enough that we were able to have a coffee and croissant before heading out with our group. Our guide, Ryan, was the best. So cheerful, friendly and knowledgeable. Also, a very competent driver for the long haul to and from the Loire Valley. We accomplished a lot for a one day tour. It went by fast, but I felt like we had enough time to take in everything at each castle. Expect some walking and many stairs to climb if you choose to explore inside the castes. Can’t recommend enough to do the small tour rather than the larger bus tour. It just moves along much more smoothly, especially with such a knowledgeable guide like Ryan. Will definitely book again with Blue Fox!
Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re delighted to hear you enjoyed the Loire Valley tour and had such a smooth and well-paced day. It’s great to know Ryan made the experience even better with his knowledge and energy. We truly appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you again on another tour! Kind regards, - Alice
Excellent tour and Will was great. Very focused on chateaux and less so on wine. Our day was unhurried and very pleasant. Lunch in Amboise was nice with plenty of restaurants from which to choose.
Thank you so much for your kind review! We’re delighted to hear you had such a pleasant day in the Loire Valley and enjoyed the relaxed pace of the tour. It’s great to know Will helped make the experience enjoyable, and that you had time to appreciate the châteaux and a nice lunch in Amboise. We really appreciate your feedback and hope to see you again on another tour! Kind regards, - Alice
