Notre bateau est en bois. Nous faisons des excursions en bateau à Kekova, mais la nôtre est un peu différente. Notre bateau a en fait une capacité de 45 personnes, mais nous en prenons un maximum de 35. Parce qu’une fois qu’il y a du monde, cette atmosphère détendue et agréable disparaît – et c’est exactement ce que nous voulons éviter. La plupart des bateaux de la région sortent avec 80 à 100 personnes. Nous préférons garder les choses plus calmes et confortables. Pas de musique sur le bateau. Imaginez une journée où tout le monde a assez d’espace, et où vous pouvez profiter de la vue sans aucune précipitation... c’est exactement l’expérience que nous visons à offrir. Bref, si vous cherchez une visite plus paisible et agréable au lieu d’une visite bondée, vous êtes au bon endroit. Notre déjeuner est délicieux, frais et local mezes fait par la femme capitaine. Notre Guide touristique sera sur la visite et vous donnera toutes les informations sur la région.

Itinéraire
Nous nous rendons au village d'Üçağız en service en 45 minutes et prenons notre bateau au port d'Üçağız.
Nous nous arrêtons pour une pause baignade dans cette baie pendant 45 minutes. Vous pouvez voir clairement sous l'eau.
Le deuxième point de baignade est la baie de Tersane. La ville engloutie et les ruines englouties partent de cette baie. Nous nous arrêterons donc pendant 45 minutes et une pause baignade sur les ruines englouties. Notre guide touristique vous racontera l'histoire de cette baie.
Après la baie de Tersane, nous naviguons vers la Sunkencity. Notre bateau naviguera lentement et le guide touristique vous donnera des informations sur la ville et son histoire. Cela prendra environ 40 minutes. Nous n'avons pas pu nager là-bas.
Sur cette île, nous voyons la grotte. C'est ce qu'on appelle la grotte des pirates. nous nous arrêtons devant la grotte à seulement 5 minutes et voyons l'intérieur de la grotte et prenons des photos.
Derrière l'île d'Aşırlı, il y a une magnifique baie appelée Gökkaya Bay. Nous nous arrêtons ici pour la pause déjeuner et la baignade. Le déjeuner est un buffet ouvert et 5 mezzés froids locaux différents à base d'huile d'olive et d'épouse de capitaine. Nous proposons également un barbecue au poulet. Avant et après le déjeuner, vous avez le temps de nager.
En face de l'île de Kekova, il y a une baie appelée baie de Burç. Vous pouvez y nager avec de l'eau de source froide sous la mer. Nous proposons du thé turc dans cette baie.
Nous nous arrêtons à Simena (Castle Village) pour visiter le château et le village de Prety. Nous avons le temps de nager et de visiter le village. Il n'y a pas de route pour les voitures jusqu'au village. Manière unique d'atteindre par voie maritime.
L'autre baie est la baie de l'île dans la région de Kekova. Nous nous arrêtons pour nager et proposons des fruits (pastèque en général)
Nous retournons au village d'Üçağız en bateau et récupérons le service.

We were somewhat disappointed by this excursion overall. We were particularly looking forward to seeing the sunken city of Kekova, but unfortunately, you don't really get to see much of it. The boat passes by very quickly, and visibility from the boat is quite limited. We also felt that the itinerary could be better planned. There were perhaps too many stops, with too much time spent at some locations and not enough at others. In addition, many boats tend to stop at the same places at the same time, which makes the experience feel quite crowded. The water was not as clear in some areas, and with so many boats around, it unfortunately gave the impression that the water was somewhat polluted. The boat itself was also quite crowded, which took away from the relaxing aspect of the excursion. That being said, the captain, staff and the guide were all very attentive and kind throughout the day, which made a real difference. They were genuinely welcoming and did their best to make sure everyone was comfortable. For that reason alone, we still consider it a nice excursion overall, despite the aspects that could be improved.

Regarding the Sunken City, the visible remains are quite limited, with most of them located in the shallow coastal area of Kekova Island. Boats cannot pass very close to the ruins due to the risk of damaging the remains, so the view from the boat can naturally be limited. Our tour is also designed as a boat and swimming tour, which is why the itinerary includes several swimming stops. Since you joined us in August, one of the busiest periods in the region, some popular bays can be crowded. Despite this, we operate at around 70% capacity and always try to choose the quieter bays whenever possible. The tour is exactly what it mentions on the page. The boat was comfortable and had plenty of seating to enjoy the views. Sometimes, it was hard to understand the tour guide's English, but that didn't prevent learning about the sunken city. Drinks are not included, so ensure you bring cash to buy beers or others.

Absolutely brilliant trip and we would highly recommend it on all fronts. We were picked up from and dropped off at our hotel which was fantastic and then had the loveliest day on the boat with lots of opportunities for snorkelling and a delicious lunch. Our hosts were charming and knowledgeable. We saw other boats which were jam packed with people and were so grateful that ours was limited to 35 which meant we had ample space to relax and enjoy the day. Fabulous!

A nice experience visiting beautiful corners of the coast near Kas on a boat. Ruins of Lycian and Roman cities and stops to swim in beautiful areas of the coast and nearby small islands. The guide Turgham was charming and surprised us since he knew some Spanish. The tour is highly recommended and at a very good price.
