Découvrez le drame archéologique de Délos lors d'une visite d'une demi-journée au départ de Mykonos. Avec un Guide local, vous naviguerez au-dessus de la mer jusqu'à l'île sacrée classée au patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO et explorerez son principal site de fouilles lors d'une visite à pied. Écoutez parler de l'île à l'époque de la Grèce antique et admirez les points forts des fouilles, y compris la terrasse des Lions, la maison de Dionysos, et plus encore. Le point de rendez-vous est le Vieux Port de Mykonos City (Diliana-voir carte jointe) à 09h30. Veuillez localiser le guichet afin de présenter votre bon et embarquer dans le bateau. Le bateau pour Délos part à 10h00 ou 17h00 (visite de l'après-midi).

Notre excursion commencera depuis le port de Mykonos
Les colonnes hautes de 5,8 m de l'atrium de la maison de Dionysos, à Délos. IIIe et IIe siècle avant J.-C. La célèbre mosaïque représentant Dionysos sur un tigre a été découverte ici.
Délos est une île grecque et un site archéologique de l'archipel des Cyclades, dans la mer Égée, près de Mykonos. Lieu de naissance d'Apollon, c'était un important centre religieux et port pendant le Ier millénaire av. J.-C. Les ruines de l'île comprennent des temples doriques, des marchés, un amphithéâtre, des maisons avec des mosaïques et l'emblématique terrasse des Lions. Le musée archéologique expose des statues excavées sur le site.
Au sommet de la colline, derrière le café et le musée, se trouve le temple d'Isis. Il faut environ 10 minutes pour gravir la colline et y arriver, mais il en vaut la peine. Les visiteurs de l'île ne viennent pas tous ici, vous pourrez donc profiter d'un peu de calme et admirer d'incroyables vues !

The tour was very organized, and our guide was very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend wearing sunblock and a hat. It is quite hot at the site. It was awesome to see a whole island that is a UNESCO world site. Overall amazing experience and would highly recommend!

This was a very enjoyable tour of Delos, one of the important islands of Ancient Greece. Our tour guide had a great sense of humor, and the boat ride was fun due to the large waves caused by the previous day's storm. The museum is now open, and once you are finished with the tour, there's a little bit of time to explore some of the nearby areas. We hiked to the top of a nearby hill with commanding views of the island. Bring sunscreen, a hat, and water (water is available for sale on the ferry). We went in May, and it wasn't very hot, but if you go later in the summer it could be quite warm. The sun exposure is pretty intense so if you have fair skin have a plan to protect yourself.

The site was amazing. The history, and the archeological preservation showing the islands importance. The terrain is quite uneven, loose rocks so wear sturdy closed toe shoes.

They canceled my tour in Spanish at the last minute and placed me on one in English. Despite that, I enjoyed it a lot with a very complete guide, I think her name was Jhoanna ()
The tour of the island was very informative. Our guide ,'Angela', is also an archeologist . This made for a much better and deeper understanding of the structures we were seeing.The boat ride to and from the island is pleasant enough but be sure to get there early if you want a seat up top. After the tour, you are given free time to wander about on your own. BE WARNED- watch your time carefully as the boat leaves when they say they will and WILL leave you behind. We saw more than a few people running for the boat and making it just in time. Be sure to bring plenty of water and snacks as there are no vending machines or kiosks on the island. Be sure to wear a hat and use sun screen too as this is all outdoors. The museum was closed the day we went and that was a little dissapointing but the site itself is just amazing.

Our guide was amazing. My only problem is the last 4 tours we have done. We have been pick up at our hotel or there was someone at the meeting point. We got there early and ran around looking for the Viator tour. I sent messages that we were there. I did not know we had to get our tickets, go on the boat, then the meeting point was on Delos. It started out crazy but ended up wonderful 😊

The experience to Delos was positive. The cost I paid was not. The museum is closed yet I paid for it and that portion should be reimbursed. We were told it’s been closed for two years so why are they charging us a service that will not be provided. I have yet received my reimbursement. This is false advertisement.

As we mention in the description, in the price of the tour the entrance fees to archeological place are included but at the same time Archaeological Museum is closed due to restoration works and opening date. We continuously work to create the best customer experiences and we conclude that there was a misunderstanding about the two different entrance fees between the archeological place (which you visited) and the Archaeological Museum that is not included in the price(and closed as well). The Delos trip was absolutely great. Nice weather and a very good guide. The tour was not very crowded and we were then only boat visiting at the time. I had booked the ticket through Tripadvisor and when checking in at Mykonos they could not find the booking eventhough I had the tickets with me. In addition I paid a lot more through Tripadvisor than the a actual price which was 60 Euro pr pers. I paid 20% more than I should have done. I will never buy tickets through Tripadvisor again
