Poor experience from start to finish. A waste of time and money. Pickup was on time but the vehicle was old, noisy, and with an uncomfortable barely padded bench. Driver drove fast and it didn't feel safe - especially with two kids in the back. He stopped for petrol on the way, which surely he should have done before he got us. Getting on the boat was fine for a fit adult, but for children, and anyone with reduced mobility was problematic and dangerous. The captain did not say a word to us when we boarded and still hadn't said a word to us when we left. The mate who was supposed to help with the fishing barely spoke a word of English so any tips/instructions he gave were completely useless. He baited the hooks for us once, and then was off fishing on his own. The only fish that were caught were the two that the captain and mate hooked. They reeled them in 90% of the way, and only then gave it to us to "finish" the job. It was incredibly boring and neither the captain nor the mate seemed to have any interest in actually finding fish. The lunch they served was cold. The watermelon was the only decent thing but the captain and first mate had made sure to take for themselves first. The whole thing was such a flop that we had them take us in early. When we left, they didn't even offer us the fish that were caught. It was a rough, bumpy, and uncomfortable 45 minute ride back to our villa. The best part of the trip was definitely arriving home.
