Notre chauffeur vient vous chercher à l'hôtel à Kandy aussi tôt que possible (vers 8h ou avant) transfert à Pi - Environ 2-2 1/2 heures de route, avant d'aller au Nuware Eliya, une courte visite du point de vue sur le théier, les cascades de Ramboda, l'usine de thé et la plantation de thé, puis conduire à Nuwareeliya. Souvent désignée sous le nom de «petite Angleterre», cette communauté montagnarde raffinée dégage une atmosphère de village vaguement britannique, avec ses bungalows de l’époque coloniale, ses hôtels de style Tudor, ses haies bien entretenues et ses jolis jardins.

Le lac Gregory, parfois appelé aussi lac Gregory ou réservoir de Gregory, est un réservoir situé au cœur de la ville de la campagne du thé, à Nuwara Eliya, au Sri Lanka. Le lac Gregory a été construit pendant la période du gouverneur britannique Sir William Gregory en 1873. Le lac et ses environs constituent la région du lac Gregory.
Victoria Park est un parc public situé à Nuwara Eliya, à côté du bureau de poste de Nuwara Eliya au Sri Lanka. À l'origine, le parc était le champ de recherche du jardin botanique de Hakgala. Le parc a été officiellement nommé en 1897 pour commémorer le jubilé de diamant de la reine Victoria

We had a fantastic day out with Mr Irfan which exceeded expectations. With just one day to explore the Kandy and Sigiriya area, we booked this trip to make the most of our time. Mr Irfan made the day go extremely smoothly and customized the itinerary to best to our interests, going above and beyond to make the day as enjoyable as possible. We learnt a lot, not only about Sigiriya Rock and Dambulla Cave Temple, but life in Sri Lanka. This day was a definite highlight of our trip and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the tour to anyone.
Our tour with Mr. Irfan was amazing. He was a very welcoming, knowledgeable and funny man. His time with us made the tour what it was, explaining how everything worked and shared his knowledge of each place we visited. From the Hindu temple in Matale, to Sigiriya temple, the Buddhist cave temple and our spice garden tour everything was a very positive experience. Thank you Irfan for an unforgettable day 🙏🙏
Irfan was a phenomenal tour guide. He arrived early and was incredibly friendly, informative, and helpful. He was a very calm and steady driver, and despite the winding roads to Nuwara Eliya, the journey felt very peaceful and relaxing: he clearly cared for and prioritised our safety! He was wonderfully vibrant and provided detailed explanations of each destination on the tour, as well as interesting tidbits about Sri Lanka's culture and history. This was definitely one of our favourite days during our trip - we could not recommend Irfan more! The sites themselves were absolutely breathtaking and the tea factory was incredibly interactive - a must-see for all!
Fantastic trip with Zameek to the waterfalls and Nuwara Eliya. Very safe driver in a clean and perfect car for the long journey. Nothing was too much trouble for Zameek, he took us to see things that many other tour guides wouldn’t have. Was always professional and keen to help and tailor our journey to our needs. Would 100% recommend him as a tour guide/driver. Thanks for making a long day very enjoyable and good fun.
I booked this at the last minute on my last day of the holiday and so glad that i did. The company got back to me immediately and confirmed. The driver confirmed the pick up time and he was on time. He was great on the trip. The two spectacular items are the waterfall and the tea plantation tour. The old post office is also very interesting. I loved the trip and it was not too long of a day. There is a climb up to the waterfall, quite steep and difficult but amazing when you get there, my pictures do not do it justice.

Had another amazing day with Irfan! He showed us around and as usual he was going above and beyond, stopping at beautiful places so we can take a picture and take it all in. I can’t recommend enough! The driving was safe and calm. We had good chats about the Sri Lanka culture and festivals. Was nice to get to know the country a bit better but also our driver himself.

Aaliya Tours were fantastic! They were very reactive from the moment we fist entered into contact with them, up until we reached Sri Lanka and of course throughout our trip. They handled the transportation from and to the airport as well as two day trips around Kandy and everything was impeccable. We asked for a trip fit for a couple with an 18 months baby and they really were very considerate towards our baby and made sure the plan was adapted for our family.
