Hayhu was exactly the kind of beach day I was looking for. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. Instead of loud music and crowded party vibes, we found comfortable loungers, the sound of the waves, and a place where you could truly slow down and enjoy the day. The service was exceptional. The staff anticipated our needs before we even had to ask and genuinely wanted to make sure we were comfortable. Everyone was warm, attentive, and made us feel welcome from start to finish. The handcrafted cocktails, made with fresh ingredients, were some of the best we’ve had, and the food was absolutely delicious. You could tell they put thought and care into everything they served. I also appreciated the natural beauty of the area. There was some sargassum during our visit, but that’s part of a living ecosystem and something that naturally changes depending on the wind, currents, and weather. I watched people swimming, kayaking, and enjoying the sea all day. By the time we were getting ready to leave, the water had already started looking much more like what most people expect. Nature is constantly changing, and that’s part of what makes this coastline so beautiful. What I loved most about Hayhu is that it doesn’t try to be something it’s not. It embraces its natural surroundings and creates a peaceful place to unwind. If you’re looking for loud music and a party atmosphere, this probably isn’t your spot. But if you appreciate authentic hospitality, handcrafted food and drinks, beautiful natural surroundings, and a place where you can truly relax, you’ll understand why we loved it. One thing that really caught my eye was their boutique hotel. They currently have two rooms designed for couples, and they looked incredibly romantic. I found myself saying, “We have to come back and stay here.” I can only imagine waking up to that peaceful view and spending a few days completely unplugged. We’ll absolutely be back. Hayhu is a hidden gem that reminds you to slow down, appreciate nature, and simply enjoy the moment.

We booked this Private Luxury Beach Club Experience in Costa Maya for our family, and overall it was a mixed experience. The excursion started off exactly as promised. The meeting location was easy to find and exactly as described in the instructions, and the private taxi transportation to and from the beach club worked perfectly, making the entire process smooth and stress-free. The good: the facilities were exactly as described. The private beach club was clean, comfortable, and had plenty of amenities to enjoy. The food was delicious, the drinks were excellent, and the service was truly outstanding. A special thank you to Carlos and the entire staff, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome throughout the day. Their hospitality was the highlight of our visit. The only minor negative was the biting flies around the property. They were present throughout the day, but thankfully they weren't overwhelming or enough to ruin the experience. Unfortunately, the biggest disappointment—and the reason for only a moderate rating—was the beach itself. Before even reaching the water, the sand was riddled with sand fleas. These tiny insects live in the sand and seemed to bite anyone standing or walking near the shoreline, leaving clusters of itchy bites around the ankles and lower legs. Beyond that, the shoreline was completely covered with thick sargassum (brown seaweed), making the beach essentially unusable. We were told that if we wanted to swim in clearer water, we could kayak about 50 feet offshore to get beyond the seaweed. Even then, you couldn't venture beyond the boundaries of the private beach because the neighboring beaches were also clogged with heavy sargassum. What was especially disappointing was that the photos used to advertise this excursion are very misleading. None of the promotional pictures show the massive amounts of sargassum covering the beach, and there is no warning that beach conditions may make swimming or even walking along the shoreline difficult or impossible. Had we known what the beach actually looked like, we would have chosen a different excursion. If your goal is to spend a relaxing day enjoying comfortable lounge chairs, great food, excellent cocktails, and exceptional service, this is a wonderful place to visit. However, if you're booking this excursion primarily for a beautiful Caribbean beach and swimming experience, go somewhere else. The staff, food, drinks, transportation, and facilities deserve high marks, but unfortunately the beach itself did not deliver the experience that was represented in the listing.

It’s all about relaxation, feeling the breeze and looking at the ocean. This is not a beach excursion per set, it’s more about relaxing. Take a book, get yourself a massage, sleep in the hammock and feel like you are royalty . We absolutely loved it. Serene and just omg the kindness of the staff!!!!

Stunning beach club! So quaint which I appreciated. Only 40 guests are allowed. We had the upper deck patio with comfy beach loungers, large table, own bathroom and shower. Everything was arranged for us from pick up to drop off. The food was delicious and service was top notch. Thank you to our cab driver Gabriel, our 2 servers Antonio & Francisco they were extremely accommodating and made us feel like royalty.

Off the beaten path, everything from the transportation from the cruise port, to the amazing food (try the big platter, it's totally worth it!), to the incredible staff, it was the highlight of our 2 week cruise. Definitely recommend for anyone who wants a quiet, boujie afternoon at a virgin beach.

Came here during our honeymoon on a cruise. Some for the best food and drinks around. Service was phenomenal and the beach was good.

Cabana was very nice and food was good. Staff very friendly. The beach directly in front of the resort was very nice and taken care of. However, the surrounding beach was not as nice and contained lots of trash.

This place is definitely 10/10. The location was about a 25 minute drive from port, but absolutely worth it. The private beach and private deck area both were beautiful and secluded. Even the food is delicious! Huge shout out to the staff though. Those guys are amazing! They made our day truly special and the service was top-tier. We never had to look for them or ask for anything. If I could give this more stars, I would. Don’t skip over this place!

Please do it. This place does not get enough recognition. The staff is very attentive and respectful. The manager ensures the taxi service is on time to take you back to the port or any destination. Gabriel was on time if not early to pick us up from the Port, he always had a smile on his face and told us many stories about the land. If you don't want to do excursions and only want to enjoy peace and quiet, please do this with your group. It was literally only 6 of us at this private oasis. Don't let the long roads fool you, it is definitely worth it ! Communication was great through WhatsApp along with the response rate. I promise you won't be disappointed.

Amazing experience!!! The best service you could ever ask for and such a friendly staff. Weren’t a lot of options on our cruise and so glad we chose this place. Great food and drinks in a private relaxing atmosphere. Thank you for a memorable day!
