Wonderful trip to see the Dolomites and taste prosecco while staying in Venice. Luca was on time, professional and friendly. The area around Venice is beautiful and so different from the city. Would highly recommend.
Some of the reviews I have read are so/so. Let me explain, this is great one day coach trip, but the weather plays an important part, check the weather forecast for your intended date to make sure the weather will be good. We took this trip Monday 18 May the weather was perfect. The coach does a number of pick ups, ours was from Bardolino bus stop. We travelled for about 1 1/2 hours stopped for a coffee and toilet break then continued on into South Tyrol stopping at the blue Soraga Lake for a photo break. The coach continued through various pretty towns normally busy in the skiing season, always climbing upwards with the scenery becoming ever more spectacular past the Marmolada the highest peak in the Dolomites. The road here becomes very winding finally reaching the Pordoi Pass 2240 meters above sea level. We stop here for lunch at about 12.00 and have the possibility to take the cable car up to the top a further 600 meters up. This is an extra normally priced at 32 euros but reduced to 28 if you are in a party. This is well worth doing the views are tremendous. There is also a restaurant Rifugia Maria which offers food and drinks at very reasonable prices, a large Capochino 3 euros. After this stop 1-2 hours we continue down past more famous peaks to Val Gardena with a final stop at the village of Ortisei. and then to the town of Bolzano and motorway to Lake Garda. This was a brilliant trip which involved being on the coach for long periods, Our Driver Paulo was excellent handling all the spectacular roads recommended if weather good.
Dear Customer, we thank you for the review dut it defitely appears like it is related to another experience of Your.We are stating that in order to mislead other potential Travellers of us. Thank you.
We had a great trip to the Dolomites!! Massimo, our guide was excellent and very knowledgeable about Italy and the region. We made stops to see wonderful scenery and take pictures. We also took short hikes around small mountain lakes. At one stop we ate at a local restaurant and the food was amazing. The stop at the Prosecco vineyard was also very informative and we sampled several different types. Would highly recommend the tour as well as Massimo
It was a foggy day, and we did not see the sharp dramatic peaks, however, we are so grateful to have gone. Agreeing that driving ourselves would have been a challenge. This was the perfect way to be introduced to the area. Our driver Massimo was familiar, knowledgeable, patient, and offered so many thoughtful comments. Now if I was to return during a warmer month to hike, or explore, I would be better prepared. Worth the time/money. A very enjoyable day with a small friendly group. The prosecco tasting was a perfect ending to the long day. thank you Massimo ! Your the best!
Simone was fantastic, and full of information and humor! Even though the drive there and back is long, time flew by with him. He made multiple stops along the way for us to check out different cities and take pictures of the beautiful landscape. The Prosecco tasting was excellent. We will be recommending this tour to friends when they visit the area!
Christano is a very skilled driver. He navigated the twists and turns of the mountain roads with ease. He made sure we stopped at excellent viewing and picture spots. The restaurant he suggested for lunch was a warm and inviting place with excellent regional foods. The prosecco tasting was educating and tasty. Wonderful way to see the dolomite mountains.
Well done. Not rushed by the tour guide and great choices for all the stops. We had a lovely tour of the proceseco wine
We had a great day in the Dolomites. Very informative and we saw exactly what they said we would. Wine tasting was great!
We had such an amazing time with Crisciano as our guide and driver. The views of the Dolomite Mountains and the wine tour were awesome. He made sure we were comfortable and had no issues. I use a cane due to a bad knee and he accommodated me. If you haven't taken the tour, you are missing out.
