We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to the Eastern Townships. Our tour guide, Fran, was wonderful. She was so friendly and very knowledgeable. Throughout the day, she provided us with extensive background and historical facts to help us better understand what we were going to see and experience. Every stop was interesting and enjoyable. As a Louise Penny fan, I loved stopping in Knowlton to visit her cafe and bookshop. The stop at the Haskell Free Library and Opera House was also a special experience. We were fortune enough to receive a private tour for our group. Our tour group was small (only 6 of us) which led to a more personalized experience during the day. I highly recommend this fabulous and unique day trip.
Thank you so much for your lovely review. We highly appreciate it. Enjoy travelling and all the best!
I was lucky to have Fran for two of my guided tours while staying in Montreal, a funny coincidence. She’s truly the prototype for tour guides. She gave us a full day tour to the Eastern Townships, packed with historical/cultural information while also driving the long journey at the same time. The landscapes on the tour were beautiful and it was nice to take a break and get out of Montreal for a day. The entire day was superb, definitely recommend this tour!
Thank you so much for your lovely review. We highly appreciate it. More nice travels and all the best!
Great tour with Fran! We had a small group of 7 ladies. Loved seeing the country side. Great sights to see.

Very informative. Visited some truly interesting sites. Nice to get off the beaten tourist path and see how others live in their communities. Our guide was fantastic, and we had a nice small group who were able to get to know each other and share stories and laughs. Everything was on time, and all communications before and the day of were excellent.

Moonerie was an excellent driver and guide. The drive to the Eastern Townships was beautiful with the fall foliage. The highlight of the trip was the very special Haskell Library and Opera House!
Thank you so much for your lovely review. We highly appreciate it. Nice more travels and all the best!
Visits to several eastern township cities making for a long day. Autumn color was beautiful, not certain summer would have been as nice
Thank you for your review. We appreciate it. Nice travels and all the best!
It is a very long day, ended up at 11 hours. Beautiful scenery and interesting stops. Just know it is a long ride to the first stop.
Thank you so much for your kind review. We highly appreciate it. In this day trip, we visit a different region from Montreal. It takes around 1h30 on the highway to go and then to come back. Unfortunately, like in this case, works and unexpected higher than usual traffic on the highway can make it longer. If you wish to discover the wonders of the Eastern Townships, you need to be prepared for the travel time and we don't recommend making any other arrangements before 7 pm. All the best!
We were a very small group and the guide made sure we were all comfortable and were seeing what we wanted to see. I particularly enjoyed the Abbey in Saint Benoit-du-lac and the library in Stanstead that straddles Quebec and Vermont. Not to mention all the beautiful scenery, the lakes and the amazing pastries in Magog. We covered a lot of ground, which is impossible if you don’t have a car so I really appreciated this tour and the top rate service we got from the company. The guide provided us with so much great information, and we had some great discussions about history and politics. Thank you!
Thank you so much for your lovely review. We highly appreciate it. Enjoy traveling and all the best!
The tour was excellent. A lot of driving since the area covered is vast but the sites visited were nice, specially the library in the middle of the Canada/US border. Mounir, the driver/guide was amazing and spoke excellent french and english.
Merci Luis Filipe! It is highly appreciated. Enjoy travelling and all the best!
This was such a unique and special experience. Our guide Munir was so knowledgeable and kind! He took us down beautiful back roads, knew all the perfect viewing spots for the lakes and other sites, and led the whole tour billingually. I won't ever forget this day.
Thank you so much Lauren for your lovely review. We highly appreciate it. Nice more travels and all the best!
