Petra is a knowledgeable guide who is passionate about the region and truly loves what she does. She takes the time to carefully curate an itinerary that meets her guests’ needs based on the weather of the day and which vineyards have availability. We appreciated her commentary and details of the region. The food and wine provided on the tour were plentiful and first class, including homemade pastries local to the region. She is a planner and thought of everything, down to coffee after lunch! We have been on large, impersonal wine tours previously and this was so much better. Meeting the owners of the vineyards and hearing their stories firsthand is an experience we’ve never had before. If the tour is available when you are looking to book, you are lucky!

We had a wonderful day trip with Petra! The wineries she took us to were quaint and very personable!! The lunch provided was delicious and the scenery was awesome!! We truly recommend taking this tour with Petra!! She did a fantastic job!!

Very fun and educational experience! Petra is friendly and knowledgeable about everything Beaujolais wine and the region. The winemakers we spoke too were both very passionate and excited to have us. Over a dozen wines to taste, each with its own unique flavour and harvesting/fermenting origin to analyze. The beautiful French countryside is definitely worth getting out of Lyon or Paris to see. Comfortable and spacious van, super easy pickup and drop off no matter where you stay in Lyon.

Petra took care of every detail possible. She had the whole plan in place, from scheduling the visits with the vineyards to catering and driving. We had a great day and the weather was amazing - that also helped a lot.

We had an amazing time! Petra was super friendly and knowledgeable. Both me and my friend enjoyed the tour massively! Petra has worked around wine for a while and it was a lovely experience to go around with her in the small wine region of Beaujolais. We had quite a few different wines on the day which was amazing! 5-6 per winery plus 3 more at breakfast and lunch combined. So for those wanting to try a few different ones, I recommend it! We were on a small and lovely group and so it made our day even more enjoyable! Plus the picnic outside was super fun ! In addition visiting villages and stopping at different parts of the countryside, was amazing!

Our Beaujolais Wine Tour has been the highlight of our European trip, which has included stays in Lucerne & Geneva Switzerland, Milan Italy, and Munich Germany. The 3 most distinguishing features of our tour were (in this order): 1. Our tour guide and owner, Petra, was intimately familiar with the Beaujolais region, it's unique history, and the factors that create the distinctive characteristics of the regions vineyards. In addition, Petra was a truly lovely individual who took pride in her business and satisfaction of her customers. She personally prepared many of the delicious dishes that we ate for lunch. 2. The vineyards and their owners, who cheerfully described their craft, as well as the unique characteristics of the land, their vines, and the process that they performed to produce a product that met their expectations. It was very obvious that they loved what they were doing. 3. The group of people, none of whom we initially knew, and their authentic interest in the region, history, and processes used in producing wine. I can't emphasize how great of an experience and value that we derived from this unique tour.

Petra gave us a beautiful day in Beaujolais country! Her personal charm lifted this experience well beyond a "tour" and "tastng". Yes, we learned so much about Beaujolais wine and the region, and took in its physical beauty. But Petra's choice of small intimate vineyards, each with a fascinating host/owner, ushered us into the world of each vineyard- its history, its unique approaches and the challenges of living your passion for winemaking in this age. Lovely wines, lovely lunch, lovely company. A highlight!

The experience was fantastic! Our tour guide, Petra, operates independently and is not affiliated with any company, which made the tour feel more personal and tailored. Everything was well arranged by her — from the itinerary to the timing, she was punctual, organized, and gave excellent historical explanations throughout the day. One of the highlights was the delicious homemade lunch she prepared, paired with great local wines. Between the good food, excellent wine, and stunning views, this tour was truly memorable. Highly recommended!

Our guide Petra was amazingly helpful, informative, and brought a fabulous lunch to pair with our wines. The views were beyond gorgeous, the wine owners very gracious. The entire day was beautiful and forever memorable.
